Everyone was still dancing, enjoying themselves- all except for Harry.
Draco noticed the exact moment Harry stopped laughing; stopped dancing. He noticed Harry's eyes dart around the festival, and his ears perk up and down.

"Harry? What is It?" Draco asked cautiously.

He followed Harry's gaze to a guard speaking to a woman, and the woman soon after pointed in Harry and Draco's direction.

"Run," Harry ordered, grabbing Draco's hand and pushing through the crowd of people.

They each heard the guard yell "Hey! FREEZE!" But they didn't care. Something was wrong.

Was the guard after Harry or Draco? Neither of them knew.

"Harry, where's your cloak? The sun is going to rise soon," Draco panted, attempting to keep up with Harry's speed.

"We have bigger concerns," Harry replied, pulling Draco closer towards him.

They ran until Draco yanked Harry back, pulling them both to a stop.

"Draco, what the hell?! We can't afford to stop right now!" Harry whispered sharply, looking around to see if there were any guardsmen nearby.

"What the hell is going on? Why are the guards after us?" Draco questioned, attempting to catch Harry's eyes.

"Either because they've realized I'm a vampire, or because they recognized you. Either way, we can't sit around waiting to find out-" Harry's ears perked up at the noise of hurried footsteps, followed by the clanking of armour, "hurry," Harry ordered, pulling Draco into a slim gap between two buildings.

The gap was so small that the two had absolutely no space between them; they're chests were pushed together, and they barely had any leg room. Harry's left leg was between both of Draco's legs, rubbing Draco in a way that was severely inappropriate at the current time-consuming and both Harry's forearms were pushed against the wall on either side of Draco's head.

Draco felt blood rush to his cheeks, "Harry-"

"Shut up," Harry whispered, his attention focused out of the small ga;  staying alert for any guards.

Draco willed himself not to think about anything to do with getting an erection because of Harry. It was proven difficult, and the more he tried, the deeper his blush got.

Harry held his breath as he watched a group of guardsmen rush past Harry and Draco's hiding spot, before releasing it in relief.

"we need to get out of here. That's was... a close call," Harry whispered, turning to Draco- Well, there was barely any room to turn. Their noses were touching.

Draco felt his blush rise even further- as if that were possible. Neither if the two made a move to leave, and Draco felt his heart hammering against his chest.
He watched as Harry's eyes slid down to Draco's lips, and as Harry slowly began to move forward; attempting to break any sort of space they had between them.
Harry's lips brushed against Draco's, before a voice caused them to jump apart(well, they didn't get very far from eachother, to say the least.)

"There you two are!" A familiar voice gasped.

The two boys turned to see the familiar face of Relamna.

"Hurry, you need to leave." She spoke, pulling the two out of the gap, "everyone in this bloody town is looking for you, Draco. You have a bounty of 1000 gold pieces on your head," she whispered, scanning the area for any prying ears.

Draco's heart sunk.
Of course his father couldn't just let him barely escape. Of-fucking-course.

"Here, Harry, your cloak. I know you'll be needing it. And here, you two, put on these masks. The guards know you were with Harry," she handed the boys two masks; one black with white circling the eyes, and one white with black circling the eyes.

They each put the masks over their face and pulled their hoods over their heads.

"There's guards blocking the exit, so I'll have to distract them while you escape, understood?" She asked, beginning to lead the two away.

Harry and Draco followed closely behind Renma, each being wary everytime they spotted a guard.

Once they got near the exit of town, Renma told the two to hide behind a nearby house.
It wasn't long after that a group of Roman candles were set off close enough to the guards to get them distracted- they even managed to catch a few houses on fire.

As soon as Harry and Draco saw an opportunity, they bolted out the gate, and didn't stop running until they made it to the forest line, where they stopped for a breath.

"We really owe her one," Draco panted, slumping against a tree.

Harry nodded, "we do." He replied, straightening his posture.
He already managed to regain his breath, whilst Draco was still winded.

"We need to go," Harry said, tilting his mask so it was on the side of his head now.

Draco copied Harry and moved his own mask to the side of his head before nodding.
He casted a lingering glance at the village before his eyes moved up towards the bruised sky, "alright, let's go." He spoke quietly, pushing himself off the tree.

Harry grabbed his shoulder before he could get any further, "you're upset."

"No I'm not," Draco scoffed, shrugging Harry's hand off.

"Draco, you wear your emotions as if they were perfume. You're upset. There's no sense in lying about it."

Draco rolled his eyes, "can we just go?" He mumbled.

"Not until you tell me what's wrong," Harry replied.

"I think it's fairly obvious."

"No, I know you're not only upset about people chasing you because you're homosexual. What else is there?"

Draco sighed and ran his hands down his face, before looking at Harry, "you nearly got exposed for being a vampire because of me. That's why I'm upset." He admitted, looking away.

"How?"

"Because. As soon as you realized something was wrong you ran. You didn't even think about grabbing your cloak for protection. You just focused purely on getting out of there. Because of me. And even though at the moment you weren't positive I was the reason the guards were chasing us, They wouldn't of been chasing us if it weren't for me." Draco explained, still not making eye contact with Harry, "you would've been hanged, or burnt, or however they execute vampires. And I would've been given to my father and probably earn the same treatment." Tears pricked Draco's eyes at the blatant truth, but he blinked them away, refusing to allow himself to appear even weaker to Harry.

It was bad enough Harry could sense Draco's emotions so simply- he didn't need Harry to see him cry.

"Draco, you're being overdramatic." Harry spoke softy now and made his way closer to Draco.

"Am I, Harry?" Draco asked, crossing his arms, "or am I being completely reasonable? If they would of caught me, they would of caught you as well for trying to help me escape. You would be exposed to the light soon after. You know I'm right." Draco let his arms fall back down to his side's.

"You don't need to worry about me, Draco." Harry said; finally getting close enough to slip Draco's hands in his own.

"I kind if have to if you barely worry about yourself," Draco rolled his eyes, blush tinting his cheeks, and Harry let out a loud laugh.

Harry sweeped his hand over Draco's head; pushing his hair back, before dropping Draco's hand and beginning to walk, "we should get back now." He said over his shoulder.

Draco nodded to himself, casted one last glance to the village, before following Harry.
