Me and my brother Corbyn have need close for as long as I can remember. Ever since our dad left in middle school. Corbyn has really just been my support system and he was there for when I felt alone in my life. Its always been me and him.
Corbyn sang all the time and he was constantly writing and practicing music. It was his thing and has been for as long as I can remember. We used to have small talent shows in our living room all the time when our family would come over. We were a little duo and our extended family loved watching us perform our songs. As time went on it became apparent that corbyn had talent and slowly I stepped back and let him do his thing. When corbyn entered high school him and his three buddies started playing music together. Those three boys were my brothers that I never had growing up. I became close with all of them and I couldn't have asked for a better group of people in my life
In fourth grade our parents started fight, it became a constant things. Corbyn would sit next to me in bed when I couldn't fall asleep, he would sing softly to make me tired. Corbyn and the boys would take me out for dinner or lunches whenever they thought I was having a rough day. It was my favorite thing to do. It sucked having parents fighting all the time, but I have found ways to cope with it. Those way mainly include avoiding my house. Our dad left pretty early on but I still avoided going home because mom never really recovered. It was long nights or not knowing if she was coming home, or she could completely flip and be the perfect mother. We never knew what were going to get.
