My Brothers Friend || Zach Herron

Are You Ready?

We pulled up to the movie theater and parked.
We walked inside while planing what we were gonna do.
We came up with this:
Corbyn would order us each a large popcorn (and a treat of our choice for when we're done)
We were gonna go into their theater and sit about two rows behind them, without them seeing us.
Then after the opening previews we one by one throw three peices of popcorn at their heads and duck down below the seat and out if sight.
Once the popcorn was gone or we got spotted, but we were not not gonna let that happen, then we would call it a day and go home.

"Ok, popcorn and licorice bites for y/n" Corbyn handed me my stuff at the door to the room that Zach and the fake were in.
"Popcorn and chocolate crunch for jack" Corbyn was struggling to hold all the stuff. But me being be I just laughed and watched.
"Popcorn and gummy bears for Jonah" Jonah grabbed the bears and started eating them before Corbyn even finished his sentence.
"And then popcorn and watermelon gummies for Daniel. And just popcorn for me"
Once we were all situated we walked into the theater right behind a family so Zach wouldn't notice us. We found them and sat two rows up.
The previews had ended and we were deciding the order of who gets to throw.
"Ok so it's Daniel, Jonah, me Corbyn then jack" this was gonna be good.
"Ready go" I was trying really hard to whisper.
Daniel threw three peices and we all fell the the floor.
At first they didn't react at all. Then Zach looked over at Bethany. "Babe?" He whispered
"Yeah" she didnt even tale her eyes off the screen.
"I think you have popcorn in ur hair" he was trying not to laugh
"Really" she ran her hands through her hair until she had all three peices in her hand.
"We didn't even order popcorn?" She looked very confused.
I was trying to contain myself from laughing.
"Ok Jonah" I signaled that it was ok.
He grabbed a handful this time and threw it at Zach's head. The whole thing got stuck in the gel coated tips of his hair.
His hand shot up and hovered over the back of his head,  but then he just scratched his neck and went back to the movie.
Me and Corbyn were rolling over trying not to laugh.
Eventually we had gotten down to the bottoms of our buckets and right now all that was left was the hard cornels.
"K, my turn" I grabbed three cornels and through them at Zach. He felt that one.
"What the?!" His hand shot to his head.
"What?" Bethany placed her hand on his shoulder.
"Something just hit my head" they both turned around and we all laid flat on the floor causing the people around look at us funny.
Bethany grabbed all the popcorn that was in his hair and showed him.
"More popcorn?" Zach looked really confused.
Me and Corbyn couldn't contain ourselves. Zach's hair was full of popcorn and neither of them noticed, Bethany had a few pieces near the bottom of her long blonde hair. He rolled around while hitting people in the shins with our elbows.
All I heard over my laughter was people and their ow's.
"Excuse me miss?" I heard a strict voice calling toward me.
"Sorry" Corbyn looked over to the man.
"I'm sorry but I'm gonna have to escort you out" he whispered to the boys and me.
"Aww" Jonah laughed.
We all got up and Zach just sat there with his mouth open when he saw us stand up.
His face was priceless. All worth it.
"Sorry for the disruption sir" jack explained ad we walked out of the building to our car.
We all piled into the car and laughed as we drive home.

We were all sitting in the kitchen cooking dinner. Well they all watched me cook dinner.
"So when is your first meet and greet?" Jonah asked.
I gave him a look that screamed shut up.
"What meet and greet" Daniel asked, sounding surprised.
Corbyn looked at me very questionably.
Just before I could talk, the door flung open and revealed a really angry Zach.
"What the hell!?" He ran into the kitchen and looked like she wanted to punch us all.
"Dude chill" jack said through laughter
"I will not chill" he ran his hands through his hair. "You ruined my date with Bethany!" He was furious.
"Sorry it was just a joke there was no harm intended" I tried to calm Zach down
"Don't talk to me about intended harm" he whipped around and pointed a finger at me.
"What the fu-" why was he getting so upset. It was just a harmless prank but Corbyn stopped me before I could finished my sentence.
"Dude go to your room if you're gonna be an ass" oh he gets to swear but I don't
"Oh I'm being an ass" he should shook his head at Corbyn "why don't you go to the movies with Cristina and let me throw popcorn at you!!" His face was bright red.
"Zach just leave. You would have done the exact same thing if it was one of us. Plus Britney is a bitch and deserved it" I said that last part without thinking.
My head shot up once I realized what I said.
"Ok, you see y/n, you don't get to hate on my girlfriend just because you ruined your shot"
The boys just sat there with instant in their eyes.
"Ok, you wanna make this about you and me, fine. I wasn't the one that ruined it you were. You kissed me and then stopped talking to me. And after jack broken up with me none the less." I was getting it all out, he deserved it. "What kind of situation do you think you put me In. I'm starting to think you took advantage of me. Then you just stopped talking to me after that, and you have the nerve to stand here and tell me that it's my fault. Well I have news for you Zach. You aren't that great, not every girl wants to be with you, so get off the pedistool that you think your on and shut up" I turned back to the chicken I was seasoning.
Zach walled way without a sound and all we heard was his door slam. The boys looked at me with surprise and I was trying to hold back tears.
"What" I asked them, my voice cracking.
"What was that all about" Daniel asked.
"Nothing" I brushed it off and tried to pushed the lump in my throat deep into my stomach, it didn't work.
"Y/n that was not nothing" jack asked
A tear slipped and fell on the skillet and all that was in the room was the sound of the water heating up and evaporating.
I felt a hand on my shoulder "y/n?" It was Jonah.
I couldn't take this right now, I need to get out of here. I ran to my room and let the tears spill as I left the kitchen.
I was standing next to my bed as I heard the door open, and I turned around.
"H-he blame's m-me" I sputtered, barely forming words through the tears.
"Don't listen to him be is just in a bad mood from what we did" Jonah stroked my shoulders.
"H-he t-thinks that I w-was p-playing a-aaa-round after t-that kiss. H-how was i-i supposed to react a-after jack j-ust broke m-my heart" the tears were streaming down my face.
Jonah just hugged me, he hugged me until I stopped crying. And that was a long time.

I had cried for about and hour or two and Zach tried apologizing but I wouldn't let him in my room.

I heard a knock on my door and then the door opened very slowly and revealed a smiley Corbyn.
"Hiya" he walked in and sat on my bed. "So I was wondering if we could talk"
I wiped my eyes and smiled. "What's up"
"So what did Jonah mean by 'when's your meet and greet?' "
"Oh, um. I got signed to a record label, and they wanna start off with a few meet and greet's and then go on to producing music"
"Music?" He looked at me shocked
"Yeah singing, song writing. Stuff like that"
"That's amazing!" He was genuinely happy for me. I was relived.
"This is a big step, y/n" he put his hand on my knee.
"I know" I nodded by head
"Are u ready for it"
"I am"
"This is a really big decision. Why did you sign to that label without telling me"
"Since we were little, singing was your thing, always was your thing. I never wanted to get in the way of that. But when I got that call, I just felt like you were gonna try and tall me out of it"
"I would never stand in the way of what makes you happy"
"Thank you Corbyn" I hugged him.

I was dressed in my black Minnie skirt and dark blue v-neck top with my hair in two French braids that turned into pig tails at the bottom of my hairline. The pig tails were straight so my strawberry blonde hair fell around my mid back.
I was standing behind a black curtain with a microphone in my hand. I was so nervous. Then the speakers came to life with Dave's voice.

"LA! I have a surprise, are you ready. For the next big star?"
I heard a huge wave of cheers and screams.
