Turn To Stone

It has been two weeks.
Two weeks without Zach.
Two weeks without his smile in the morning.
Two weeks without hearing his voice.
Two whole weeks with him laying in that bed and not knowing when he was gonna wake up.

"Y/n Let's get a run through of 'be long with Me !!" Dave yelled at me as everyone cleared the stage.
Today was my first big concert, over 1000 seats the building and I was sold out. I was so happy but all I could think of was Zach.
I stood in the front center of the stage and began to sing after the intro.

"That was great, very emotional I love it!!" Dave applauded from one of the seats in the audience section.
"Thank you " I have been holding in tears for two weeks.
All of my songs were about Zach, they all were, no doubt about it.
"We are all set for tonight!"
"Um dave?" I stopped him before he stood up
"Yes y/n"
"I actually wrote another song and I was wondering if I could sing it tonight?"
"Our set is pretty full"
"Yes I know but this song is important to me. One of my friends is in the hospital in a coma and it's about him. I wanted to dedicate the performance to him"
"Oh, if we have time for it than yes you may."
"Thank you"
He walked off and I grabbed by bag and headed toward the exit.

"How is he" I sat in a chair next to Zach's bed.
"He hasn't showed any signs of waking up, but the doctors say there is nothing wrong so he should be fine." Myta gave me a side hug and we watched him 'sleep' for a little while longer.
"I'm gonna go get a snack" I stood up and walked out.
When I closed the door and was around the corner I took in a few deep breaths and tried to contain myself.
"Hey" I looked up and saw Jonah walking toward me
"Hey" I gave him a weak smile
"How you holding up?" He gave me a hug
"Enough I guess, I have cried in a few days so I guess that's good."
"I thought you had rehearsals isn't your concert tonight"
"Yeah, yeah it is but a day hasn't gone by where I haven't been by his side and I wasn't gonna change that for a stupid concert."
"Hey, your concert isn't stupid, your fans are counting on you, you need to give them what they want. Zach isn't going anywhere, and if he does you are the first person we will call"
"Its been two weeks Jonah and I'm getting scared" I started to shake
"Me to, but you have a job to get to, ok."
"Ok" I nodded and collected myself.
Jonah walked me to my car and sent me off.
I wasn't in the mood for a performance. But Jonah was right, my fans were counting on me.

"Your gonna do amazing" Corbyn rubbed my shoulders.
"You can do this" jack punches my arm and I let out a laugh.
"Just remember what I told you" Jonah looked me in the eye and I nodded.
"It may not feel like it right now but this is gonna be the best day of your life, but you just need to enjoy it, ok?" Daniel pulled me in for a hug.
I waited for a speech from Zach, but it never came. Daniel wad right this is one of the greatest days of my life. And he isn't here to go through it with me.
We were all back stage and it was 5 minutes till I went on. I was so nervous.
I heard a beep and that was my que, I walked out and the lights dimmed. Thousands of people were screaming my name, hyping me up.

"Hey guys!" I spoke into the mic hooked around my ear and across my cheek. It sounded weird to have my voice be so loud. "This night is gonna be great, I can feel it." That followed my more screams. I laughed and began to sing 'You Belong With Me'
Of course it was about Zach so it made me think of him, which made me emotional. So did my second song 'If You Only Knew'
I got through those two and then about two covers one of them being 'Words I Didn't Say' by the boys. I was tired and breathing heavy when I saw Corbyn and Jonah waving like idiots for me to get off the stage.
"Sorry guys, I'm gonna take a 5 minute break and be back out for a few more." I ran off the stage to where they were standing.
"What!?"
"Its about Zach" Jonah looked scared to speak
"What about him, what is wrong" the life drained from me as I got scared
"The doctors said that he hasn't gotten any better and if he doesn't wake up by the end of the week then they are pretty much gonna take him off life support and he is on his own. And by the looks of it he won't last two days with out it" Corbyn pulled me into a hug when he finished talking, he knew how I was gonna react but I didn't, I just stood there with Corbyn's arms around.
"What?" I couldn't believe it, I didn't want to believe it.

It won't bring Zach back but at least it will help me.

"I'm gonna go back out there. I have a concert to finish" I mumbled and plastered a smile on my face. I left the boys standing there with a look of disbelief on their faces.
"Hey guys, so a little change of plans. I am only gonna sing one more song tonight" there was a chores of aww's through the crowd. "I was just informed that one of my best friends is very sick, and they don't think he is gonna make it. And if you wouldn't mind I would love to be there with him at the hospital." I was trying not to cry. "This song is for him"
I stood there and began to sing my heart out. Just like that day with Devan and Collins
