After waiting until six o'clock in the evening, Tristan went downstairs and returned to George and Steven and gave Steven a bottle of water he grabbed from the kitchen. "Thanks." He nodded and sat next to him as they continued to watch George. "He might be out for a while, why don't we take it in turns to watch him? one of us will sleep while the other watches him." "I'm in."

When it was dark at eight o'clock at night, George was covered up by Tristan as Steven was the first to sleep. "There we go George. Steven is here with me. You're not on your own." He watched his friend breathe gently and slowly once he sat back on the chair.

George woke up at midnight and sensed that his father wasn't in the house. He looked around the room and his eyes eventually landed on Steven and Tristan, only to find that Tristan was awake. "Tristan?" He quietly asked. "George. How are you feeling?" "Fine I guess. What happened?" "We had to make you sleep." "I'm sorry if I'm making things difficult. I just want to be cured." "You will be. Come on. You better get up and stretch your legs and have something to eat. You've been unconscious for hours." He nodded as they went downstairs once Steven woke up when Tristan gently shook him.

"Here you go pal. Eat up," Tristan told George once he gave him some soup to eat at the table. "Thanks."

When George finished eating, he went to the living room and leaned back as he then closed his eyes. "Why don't you just go back to bed?" Steven asked him. "I'd like to sit here for a moment. Could you please leave for a few minutes?" "Sure. Let's go Tristan. I need to contact someone." Tristan looked to George and then turned to Steven and nodded as he then stood up and left the room with his friend.

"Please. If you can hear me, show yourself. Talk to me. Tell me what I've done wrong. I'm on day five of this poison being inside of me. But thanks to Jonathan and the others, the process is slow. On the fourteenth day, the poison will take over again at the pace it was when it first entered my body. I'm so scared." He broke down and Tristan and Steven felt his pain, just as George's father walked down the stairs.

"Hey guys." "Hi Jack," greeted Steven. "How is he?" "Well...he woke up, had something to eat and he went into the living room and sat on the sofa. He said he wanted to be alone for a few minutes and he's talking." "To who?" "He just mentioned the moon goddess. He wants her to show herself and tell him what he's done wrong. He's just told her what's happened and that he's scared." "You can't blame him for being scared." He then entered the living room and sat by his son's side.

"Son?" "Dad. I'm fine." "Obviously not. Talk to me. There's nothing the moon goddess can do to help you." He was about to talk until he collapsed towards his father who caught him immediately. "Jack-" "I've got him Tristan. I'll take him upstairs and watch him." "We'll do that. Go back to bed. You're still going out searching for a cure." "Thanks guys." George's father then went upstairs and got back into bed beside his wife and saw that she was awake.

"Hi Jane." "What's wrong? Is George-" "He's fine," he interrupted. "He's going back to bed. He's just scared." "You can't blame him." Once he got into bed, he saw his wife move further towards him as she then rested her head on his left shoulder. "I can't lose him." "I know. We all know that you want to get to know him more and we also know that he wants to know more about you. It's just that you both haven't had enough time to talk. When he wakes up in the morning, talk to him before you go." He nodded and kissed her lips before closing his eyes and falling into a deep sleep.

"George!" his father yelled at seven o'clock in the morning, also startling his wife. "What's wrong?" He quickly pushed the cover back and got out of bed before dashing to his son, only to find Tristan gently dabbing a damp flannel around his face. "How is he?" "It's just a little fever. We've got it under control." "Why didn't you wake me up to tell me?" He then walked to his son's side and tried to sense Hunter. He then began to focus. 'Hunter, are you there?' 'Dad.' 'How are you?' 'Weak. He's got a fever. I'm trying to keep it down for him, but it keeps on rising, no matter how hard Steven and Tristan try.' 'Well, I don't know how long I can keep fighting to keep his fever down.' 'Keep trying. We'll beat this. Even it's at the last minute.' 'I know. We believe in you all.'
