Mike saw his friend lying completely flat on the sofa on his back and slowly approached him. "Hey." He began and sensed that George was fine. "George, wake up," he said as he gently shook his right shoulder. "What?" he asked as he slowly opened his eyes. "How are you?" "Fine, why?" "Just asking." "Where are the kids?" "They're upstairs." "When did they leave?" Jonathan then spoke up and said, "half an hour ago. Mike was outside with Chester to show him his true self." "How did he take it?" "Really well actually. He doesn't mind. We'll all show him our true forms. That way, he knows we're not a threat."
"I'm sorry if I worried you. I bet you thought I collapsed again." Mike nodded as he saw his friend sit up and stand up. "Take it easy." He then began to walk towards the back door to go and sit on the bench to get some air when he was suddenly stopped the moment he stepped out of the back door. "What's wrong?" "Who are you?" Mike walked towards his friend and saw a young child that looked wild eyed. "Are you o-?" It was a little boy that had blood on his clothes. Mike carefully yet quickly approached him after he sensed that he wasn't a threat. "Daddy," was all the little boy could say before he ran towards Mike and tackled him to the ground in a hug.
"I'm sorry, but I'm not your daddy. Can you tell me what happened?" "My mummy was hurt." "Where is she?" He took Mike's hand and took him to where his mother was.
Mike saw someone he didn't recognise as she stood next to the boy's mother. "Let me help," was all he could say as he then examined the female human. "Did you dial for an ambulance?" "Yes." He held the woman's wound and he saw that the child had caught up to him. "Daddy?" He then saw the child collapse to the ground. The woman ran to his side and checked him over by checking to see if he was breathing. She made sure her face was close to his so she could make sure he was breathing.
Mike's eyes suddenly turned purple again and he moved his head away from everyone so that his eyes wouldn't be seen as he saw the location of the last thing that was needed. He saw the woods. It was deep within the woods. His eyes then returned to their original colour and he focused on the woman. "Is he her son?" She nodded. "He said daddy to me, but I'm not his dad." "He's just upset and wants his daddy." "Is he working?" "He was. I just called him just as he ran off. Thanks for bringing him here." "He lead me here once my friend saw him in the back garden."
The mother of the little boy suddenly opened her eyes. "Ow. My head." "Everything is fine. Try and stay still. Help is on the way." "Mike. Where is he?" "Is that your sons name?" She nodded. "He's with the woman over there," he said as he pointed to them as she looked to her son. "That's my sister." "I think he's passed out from shock."
Sirens were then heard. "The ambulance is here. Everything is going to be fine." The paramedics then got out of the ambulance and saw the woman and her unconscious child on the ground, ran up to them and the woman's sister told both paramedics what had happened and shortly afterwards, took them to hospital. Mike then ran back to his brother's house and told him what had happened.
"Are you sure it's in the woods?" "I'm positive. I saw it with my own eyes in the vision." "So, you're certain that you remember what it looks like?" He nodded as they suddenly heard a loud thud from upstairs. "George," they said simultaneously.
They ran up the stairs and when they opened the door, they saw that he was playing the guitar. "What's wrong?" "We heard a thud and we thought it was you." "I'm fine...for now." "Claire." Mike ran out of the room and went to find Claire, only to find her on the floor with the kids as they tried to rouse her. "Kids. Please step back a little bit and give Claire some room." They stood up and moved away while Mike tried to sense her and Alison. He could, but the connection was faint.
"Don't worry Claire. You're fine. Let me make you comfortable." He was about to pick her up to put her into bed when she suddenly began shaking. "Don't worry Claire. Everything is fine."
