By the time it was time for George to go to work, he was at the door as he kissed Kira goodbye and went to his car as he then proceeded to make his way to work.
By the time he arrived, he entered the building and immediately saw Jacob waiting for him. "Good morning Jacob." "Good morning to you George. How is everything at home?" "Better. My wife is feeling better." "That's great news. We'll be having a drink first. I need some coffee." "Sure." "It's just that...I had a rough night last night. I hardly slept. Forgive me for anything that I say or do that you don't like." "It's fine."
Four hours passed and George was finishing talking to a customer when Jacob was standing waiting for him. "Thank you. Don't hesitate to ask. That's why we're here." He smiled as he watched the customer leave and caught Jacob watching him. He walked towards him and said, "I think I'm getting better." "That's great. Are you ready for your break?" "Yeah. I'll make your drink this time. I think you need it." He nodded and followed George to the staff room. He sat at a table while George made them both a drink.
"Here Jacob." "Thanks. I really need it." "Yeah. You even sound tired." "Yeah. When you don't sleep well, you do tend to sound exhausted." "Yeah." Jacob took a sip of his coffee when George sat down next to him and had a little chat. "So, if you don't mind me asking...how's your wife?" "She's slowly getting better. We err...made up for lost time last night." "That's great news. Not completely, but it's a start." "Yeah." "Why don't you close your eyes for a few minutes?" "I don't need to-" he yawned before finishing his sentence. "Sleep." He rested his head on the table and closed his eyes. "Don't worry Jacob. I'll wake you up in a few minutes. Just don't let your coffee go cold."
At George's house, George's father was there with Kira in the living room. "So, how are you feeling today Kira?" "I feel much better." "That's what we like to hear." She smiled and looked down. "You will be a mother Kira. I promise." "How do you know?" "Don't you believe me?" She continued to look down at the floor. "Give me your hand." She looked up at her father in law and saw his face. He looked sad in a way, but he was trying to help lighten her mood. "We're just too young, aren't we?" "There is that, but your body is still recovering." "I hate it dad." "I know. Just give me your hand." She held her right hand towards him and he held it with both of his hands and closed his eyes.
He saw his son with her in hospital as she gave birth. He saw two baby pups in human form in her arms. They both returned to reality and Kira quickly pulled away. "What was that?" she quickly asked. "That is what I saw this earlier. I thought you'd like to see it." "Will it actually happen?" "Visions don't lie Kira. I'm sure if I show George, he may see the exact vision that I did, but I want him to know and see what I saw. So...do you think you can be happier now?" "Yes." He smiled and held her close to his chest as he hugged her. She smiled against his chest and kept on smiling.
At the end of the working day, George was on his way home when his phone suddenly rang. He pulled the car over to stop it and answer the phone. He saw that it was Kira. "Hi Kira. I'm on my way." "Good. I need you to come straight to bed. We need to talk." "I promise to be there soon." "Good."
Once home many minutes later, George went straight to the bedroom to find Kira under the cover. "Hey," he greeted. "Hi," she greeted back with a smile on her face. "You look more happier." "I'm glad you noticed. Your dad showed me something earlier and he wants you to see him so he can show you. That's why I'm happier." "That's wonderful. I'll call him right now." "He's downstairs actually. He should be in the kitchen." He went straight downstairs and into the kitchen to find his father sat at the table.
"Dad?" "Hi son. Welcome home. I've been waiting for you. I want to tell you something." "Kira told me that you showed her something." "Yeah. I'd like you to know that I had a vision of you both. You're going to have pups. I promise." "Can you show me?" He nodded and held out his hand. George took it and suddenly saw the vision.
