Bethany looked at the boy in front of her and he suddenly asked, "would you like to hang out with me while it's break time?" "Sure," she immediately said. They walked out of the building and sat on a bench together. They talked until the bell rang for their next lesson. "It's time to go to class." "I'll walk with you. Seeing as though we're in the same classes." "Thank you." They then walked to their next class together.

Bethany sat next to Jacob throughout their class and they happily worked together. He felt his heart beating fast within his chest and he recently found out that he was a werewolf. He didn't want to tell her because he knew what would happen to him if the word had gotten out.

"Maybe we could put those together and then the chemicals can react." "I agree. You can pour it into the beaker." "Alright." He poured the chemical into the beaker and it made a mess everywhere. "Well done you two," their teacher told them. "Thank you."

At noon, George was in the staff room having his lunch when Jacob approached him. "Hi George." "Hi Jacob. How's your wife?" "She's fine. How's your wife?" "She's great. Thanks for asking." He smiled at his colleague and ate his second sandwich.

After an hour, Jacob and George was about to get back to work when they suddenly saw Martin at the customer service desk. "Martin?" Jacob asked. They watched their manager turn to face them and they saw many bags under his eyes. "Have you slept?" He looked at Jacob and gave him a half eye opened look with both eyes. "No. Our baby won't stop crying." "The joys of being a father." George then smiled at them both and Jacob suddenly looked at his colleague and smiled. "One day George." "I know. I think we should adopt to avoid another loss." "Don't give up." He nodded and walked with his boss and colleague to Martins office.

"How can we help, Martin?" Jacob asked. "I just want to lie down for a minute." He nodded as he watched his boss lie down on the sofa and watched him close his eyes. "Just rest Martin. George and I have got this." He nodded as Jacob then left the room with his colleague and went back to work. "He's just exhausted." "I know. You can definitely tell when you see the bags under his eyes." "That will be you one day." "I hope so."

When it was the end of the working day, George's father was already waiting for him. "I'll see you tomorrow then work buddy." "Yeah. See you tomorrow Jacob. Make sure Martin get's home safe." "I will. I'll take him home and I'll bring him back in the morning so he can drive himself home." "Would you like me to see if my dad will drive him home?" "Sure." "Just give me a minute." He left the building, saw his mother's car and saw his father. He opened the passenger door and said, "dad. My boss is too exhausted to drive home. Is it possible for you to drive him home?" "Of course." "Thanks dad."

He walked back into the building and said to Jacob, "my dad will take him home." "I'll get Martin and I'll see you at the car." "Would you prefer me to go with you to help?" "No thanks. I've got it." "I'll get my dad to park near the entrance." He nodded and watched George leave before returning to the office.

George walked towards the car, got into the passenger seat and said, "Jacob is taking him to the entrance." "Let's go then." He turned the key in the ignition and drove to the entrance where they both saw Martin being guided to the car by Jacob. "Come on Martin. George's dad will take you home." "I just need some sleep." "We know. You can't drive home yourself." "I'll be fine." "I'll drive your car to your house in the morning." "Thanks Jacob." He got into the passenger's seat in the back of the car and closed his eyes.

George's father drove to Martins house and they were almost there when the traffic light turned red, causing him to stop the car. He looked into the rear-view mirror and gently told him to wake up. "Yeah?" "You're nearly home." He nodded and moved his head so he was facing the window on his side of the car.
