Day 10: Friends and forgotten birthday

Alright, I'm gonna get a grip with this thing! I'll do it better! (I feel like the things I've been writing has recently been a bit shit..)

And today might be a bit shit too, as I'm tired and not in the mood. :(

Anyways I met up with my best mate at a café and did some chemistry homework and discussed suicide as we often do whilst doing homework. Then we got to depressed to carry it on after a few hours and so we went to the shops to console our selves by looking at clothing we can't afford. BUT then I remembered that our friend Mercedes is celebrating her 18th birthday today! It was just meant to be small intimate thing with like her, us, five other friends and her fiancé. So that was not so good. We quickly hurried to some shops and bought her something proper and a teddy bear for her kid (she's eight month pregnant) and Chris, my mate, called her up and apparently everyone else had forgotten or called in that day to cancel. She was devasted obviously. So we hurried over to Chris's (took the wrong train accidentally, such geniuses we are..) and got changed and wrote the card and got on our way again. Chris also lent me a very beautiful dress which was very kind of her, even though I would have rather stayed in my slightly sweaty tee and trousers...

Anyhoo we accidentally got off the bus two stops early so that was also wonderful, walking about a kilometer or more in the heat with a heavy gift bag... lols we have the best of luck!

We finally made it over there though, and I met Mercedes fiancé for the first time, and he is such a kind wonderful man! yeah he might be ten years older than her and got a fuckload of tattoos, but I've learnt in my time not to judge on apperances. He was so nice and absolutely ecstatic about the baby and he's also got a stable job and is a "wing tsun" teacher somewhere in the city, so he's quite into martial arts. I'm just so happy for Mercedes that since she ended up getting knocked up, that such a nice dude did the deed. I'm so certain that he'll be a good dad.

But blahblahblah! We went out for sushi. (which might not be the best idea with an eigth month pregnant lady) Mercedes said that as long as she avoided raw tuna she was following doctors orders... so I guess that's fine? We had a lovely time nonetheless. And I'm quite happy to have seen her again and met Josh (the fiancé) even though it became a rather expensive day... I ended up spending the equivalence of almost 100 usd! that's a fuck load of money for an unemploid student! but I suppose it might be worth it.. somehow. Mercedes was smiling at the end of the day, and that is really all that matters. It was her birthday after all and since all the guest but Chris and I bailed, that was rather impressive.

But now I'll retire once more 'cause I've been tumblring for some hours and my brain requires some rest now!

Altogether it was a fairly stressful day, but worth the hassle in the end! :)

I'm also no longer feeling that murder-suicide-twinge that rests in the body after revising, so that's nice.

SO have a pleasent [insert time of day] my dearest reader! :* till next time!

(Lol it just occured to me that I am not at all improving my writing when I'm using shorts like "gonna" and "'cause" so I'll try and limit those in the near future!)

Byyye!
