37. Sammy

Your eyes are closed as you are dreaming. The sun beams from the window. You can feel it on your skin. An arm wraps around you and holds your hands. A kiss is placed on your cheek that wakes you up. You turn to your side and look into Sammy's eyes as he smiles at you. He kisses you and smiles again.
"Good morning beautiful."
"Good morning Sammy."
"Are you hungry?" He strokes your arm and your side with one arm holding himself up.
"Yeah." You say with a yawn. He am turn and grabs a strawberry. He dips it in sugar and you open your mouth. He puts it in halfway and then quickly pulls the strawberry back. He continues to do that until you refuse to open your mouth. He laugh and finally let's your eat the strawberry. He looks into your eyes and still continues to smile.
"You're smiling so much" you say
"It's because I have you to always smile about." He leans in and kisses you again. You smile and sit up on top of him. He smirks and then quickly rolls you and now he's on top of you. You continue back and forth until you both falls side by side laughing at each other. He turns to you.
"I love you so much ah"

You smile at the memory. You lay down in the same bed longing for his warmth again. But it's not there. It's been 8 months and the realization that he's gone still and never will settle in. You clutch your pillow tight but nothing will ever replace the feeling of him. You look at the ceiling and begin to let the tears roll.
