40. Aaron

You sit on the rocks overlooking the river. Everyone is in the water except you. You sit down watching the others with your white shirt and shorts still on. Kicking your feet gently against the water you look down and up. You sigh and only wish he noticed you were at this party too. You only came to see him but it's not like you had the guys to actually talk to him. You feel a tap on your shoulder and you're surprised to see Aaron smiling behind you. He sits next to you.
"Hey"
"Hey" you reply. Trying not to hide your nervousness.
"Why aren't you in the water?"
"I don't feel like swimming."
"Aw come on why not?"
"I just don't idk I'm weird."
"I like weird." He smiles at you and you smile. You take your hand to push some hair behind your ear but it slips and in a second you're in the water fully clothed. You resurface and gasp for air. You hear another splash and Aaron is right next to you.
"Are you okay?"
"Yeah I'm fine just...." You look down and see your purple bra showing through the white top. You try to cover your chest as your cheeks turn red.
"Oh my god I omg." Aaron laughs and puts his arms around you.
"There. As long as you're in my arms they won't see."
"How long will I have to stay in your arms then?" He thinks for a moment and smiles. He puts his forehead against yours.

"I guess you'll have to stay in my arms for a while."
