36. Cam

You can see him in the halls. His beautiful long brown hair and his brown eyes. He walks with his shoulders low looking down at the floor. The push and toss him around like a rag doll. You take two steps towards him but stop. You can't do this. You're too afraid. They'll attack you next. You turn away as you hear him being tormented. They walk away and you can hear the silent but prominent cries of him. You see him in class and it's taking everything you have inside to not just go over there and tell him it's all going to be okay and you love him. But you can't. There it is again that fear. He has his head down and you can hear him cursing his life and wishing they would stop tormenting him. The weeks and months pass and you continue to see him being bullied with no one by his side. And each time you want to help but you are afraid. It's now the day before valentines day. You've had this planned for a while and you're going to do it. You don't care what they'll think you are going to go up to him, stand up for him, and tell him how you feel. You want him to know you care. To know you love him. The next day you search for him and see he is isn't there. A part of you is sad. But you know when he comes back you'll have your chance. But you'll never get that chance. A week later it's all over the news.
