I gripped onto her hips as we danced in the hotel room to some slow music it was our anniversary and I decided I would do something for her today so here we are cake and champagne on a table and us slow dancing together, her fingers glided across my neck causing me to shiver. "Vasco thanks for today"she looked up at me smiling and I slowly leaned in kissing her lips. I've dedicated my life to this wonderful woman this beautiful creature that God blessed onto me is in my arms . Back in highschool I never thought I'd have her because she seemed so far away but she really wasn't she was by my side all along I just had to acknowledge it. I pulled away putting my hand on her cheek her skin was so soft and her beautiful brown eyes stared into my soul and melted my heart . I think it's time I did it "I have something to tell you"her eyes looked worried and I smiled softly reassuring her. "It's been 10 years since we've been together and I want to thank you for putting up with me and loving me for who I was a naive little boy in a man's body but with you I grew to the man that is standing in front of you today and without you I never would've found myself and I never would've seen the true you so "I went down on my knee in front of her and pulled out a black velvet box with a diamond ring. "Will you Ha-Nuel You marry me "she nodded crying tears of joy. I pulled her into a passionate kiss and we spent the night hugging and toasting to our new future. "I love you"she whispered I kissed her forehead but then soon everything became fuzzy
"Vasco? Vasco! Wake up"I hear a faint voice and I woke up finding myself in the classroom with Jace shaking me. "Come on it's time to go "I looked outside seeing the sunset. "One day"I chuckled to myself looking far into the distance thinking of her. "One day indeed"Jace wiggled his eyebrows and I playfully punched his shoulder walking home. "Do girls like rings Jace"he laughed nervously telling me don't worry about it
