As the sun pierced through her sheer curtains Nina couldn't help but huff at the daylight seeping into her room . She peeled her eyes open and glanced at the clock as it read 7:10 this meant any minute Ruby will burst into her room and pry her sheets off her in a hurry . Although she had grown used to having barley any privacy with Ruby in the complex she still couldn't help but become annoyed with her endless nagging she felt as if she was with her grandmother at times .
However with the events of last night she wasn't even bothered .
Once again she was swept off her feet and enveloped into the sweet serenity of which was Finnick , she remembered the way his hands grazed her cheek in such a soothing manner and even though it was cold their bodies were so tightly wrapped around each other they found warmth as their clothes stuck to them dripping from the rain .
For once Nina felt like everything was going to be okay , that the pain and suffering would only be temporary if she was around Finnick . As she held onto her lazy grin , caressing her lips slighty the door to her bedroom door flung so hard Nina swore she saw one of the hinges break off .
She rolled her eyes as in the corner of her eyes she saw the neon yellow silhouette that was Ruby , this time she wore a yellow speckled dress with clear embodied crystals . It wasn't the worst shes worn thought but it certainty wasn't the best .
" Do you have any idea what the time is ?!" Her escort managed to screech out prying the sheets off the bed and exposing Nina to the cold air which made her groan in annoyance , the cold ari prickled her toes which made her squirm .
"Im very aware Ruby but training isn't on till another 20 minutes " she groaned turning away from Ruby and burying her face into the nearest pillow she could find .
She managed to stay in a log like position , pretending she had fallen asleep again and just as she thought she got away with it , an immense pressure filled her head and the pillow she was hit with managed to skid over the bed and plant itself on her bedside table knocking off her lamp .
Nina shot up from the bed , her hair an un- tamable mess and wiping the tiniest bit off drool from the corner of her mouth where she must of accidentally dozed off . She looked over and was expecting to see Ruby fed up , but instead there stood Sam with the most shit eating grin he could muster and by his hand was another pillow just in case Nina would not get the hint .
" What the hell Carter " Nina steadied her self from the bed laughing , she swiftly turned around and grabbed the nearest pillow she had and launched it at his head .
Instead of attacking back Sam laughed , his head tilted in joy and it made Nina's heart full of happiness she was overjoyed to how much Sam had changed since she had picked up the broken parts of him to fix when she saw him last .
