Warriors Morning and Night

Chapter 6

Nightpaw padded through the Shadeclan forest trying to find Leafclan territory, then ran into Otterpelt, Snowpaw, and Morningpaw. "What are you guys doing in Shadeclan?" Asked Nightpaw. "Though I am happy I ran into you." "We are looking for you." Otterpelt Meowed. "And why do you have scratches and bite marks on you?" "I had to fight Scarstar's warriors." Mumbled Nightpaw. "It it was not done with mercy." "Well let's get you back to camp." Otterpelt Meowed leading the apprentices out of Shadeclan territory.

Once they got back Otterpelt sent Nightpaw to the Medicine den. Morningpaw and Snowpaw padded to the apprentice den. "I thought Nightpaw was a goner!" Snowpaw mewed. "I'm glad he's okay." "Same" Morningpaw mewed back. "Anyway wanna go hunting?" "Sure!" Purred Snowpaw. "I wanna make Blizzardeye proud of me, so I can become a warrior faster!" "Then let's go!" Morningpaw mewed to Snowpaw. The two padded out of the camp and started hunting. "Y'now..." Snowpaw began "you remember when you were a kit?" "Yea" Morningpaw replied. "What about it?" "Why did you go out of camp?" Snowpaw asked. "I remember seeing Darkstorm looking around the camp for you and Nightpaw." "Oh Nightpaw was chasing a leaf and ran out." Morningpaw replied. "I was trying to get him out of trouble." "Oh okay." Snowpaw mewed. "Just wondering." "When do you think we will become warriors?" Morningpaw asked. "We have been apprentices for quite some time!" "Not for awhile I don't think." Snowpaw replied. "Compared to how long the warriors trained were pathetic.""Oh, okay." Morningpaw mewed. "Anyway let's get back to hunting, the clan needs more fresh kill."

"Alright." Neapleaf mewed. "Your free to go now Nightpaw." "Thanks." Nightpaw replied before padding out of the medicineden. "That took longer than expected." Nightpaw mumbled to himself. "But at least I can go hunting now." Nightpaw was about to pad out of the camp to hunt, when Darkstorm called him over. "Hello!" Darkstorm purred. "I'm glad to see your out of the medicineden!" "Yup" Nightpaw mewed. "It took longer than expected." "I'm just glad you're alright." Darkstorm began. "And before I forget why were you about to go out?" "Oh I was going to go hunt." Nightpaw replied. "It looks like the clan needs more fresh kill." "I know Morningpaw and Snowpaw went out at sun high to catch some." Darkstorm said. "Maybe you should stay here they'll be back soon." "Alright." Nightpaw mewed. " I'll go and try to help Otterpelt work on getting moss for the elders." "Alright." Darkstorm replied. "Be safe!" "I will." Nightpaw mewed then padded over to Otterpelt to help change the elders moss.
