Do you think this is where we were when we fought him?" Morningpaw asked. "You don't know the way much." "Don't worry I'm sure of it." Nightpaw replied while smelling the area. "See, there is the sent trail he left." "I guess so" Morningpaw mumbled. "Well do we follow it?" "I guess so." Nightpaw meowed. "I just hope we don't get into trouble." Then Nightpaw and Morningpaw followed the trail. "Hey who's that?" Morningpaw asked looking at some cat in the bushes. They started to creep up to who it was then the cat jumped up and stared at them. "Who Are you?" It said worried. "Don't worry I'm Nightpaw and that's Morningpaw." Nightpaw replied. " What's your name?" "I'm Flareheart" Flareheart said. "I came from The DarkForest." "What?" Nightpaw and Morningpaw replied surprised. "What happened?" "I got into a fight with my dad..." Flareheart mumbled. "He brought me to the leader and he banished me for being for fighting on the side of good." "By any chance do you know the leaders name?" Nightpaw asked. "He doesn't have one." Flarepaw replied. "But I remember my father called him Evileye." "Hey..." Morningpaw began. "Do you need a home?" "Well yea..." Flareheart replied. "I've been alone for about a Moon." "Well you can come with us!" Morningpaw insisted. "My father Barkstar would love a new warrior!" "You think?" Flareheart questioned. "Of course!" Morningpaw mewed. "Common we'll take you to camp!" On the way back Flarepaw started laughing. "What's so funny?" Nightpaw asked. "I remember when the leader came back one day." Flareheart tried to keep her voice straight. "He was mad, I overheard him talking to my father about letting two kits escape!" Nightpaw and Morningpaw looked at each other then continued on. Once the three arrived they padded over to Barkstar. "Hey Barkstar!" Morningpaw mewed padding over to him. "Nightpaw and I found a cat who wishes to join Leafclan!" "Really?" Barkstar Replied. "We do need more warriors." "Well here she is." Morningpaw said, while Flareheart padded up aside her. "This is Flareheart." "Flareheart?" Barkstar mumbled. "Isn't that a warrior name?" "Yes." Flareheart replied. "I came from the DarkForest." Barkstar stood back a little. "The Darkforest?" He began. "Why do you wish to join Leafclan?" "I was abandoned by the Darkforest." Flareheart mumbled. "The leader banished me for being kind." "Well I shall announce your arrival to the clan then." Barkstar quickly leaped onto the leaf rock. "All cats old enough to explore the forest gather below the high rock for a clan meeting!" Barkstar yowled. Soon everybody took their seats below the high rock. "Cats of Leafclan." Barkstar began. "We have a newcomer among us today." Barkstar looked at Flareheart. "Flareheart has been banished from The Darkforest and wishes to join Leafclan." "The Darkforest?" Flamepelt growled. "That's absurd!" Barkstar gave Flamepelt a warning look. "Since Flameheart is new to the warrior code she will train as an apprentice." Barkstar looked to Spiderfang. "Spiderfang you are ready to take on your first apprentice." Barkstar said. "Will you take Flareheart as your apprentice?" "Yes Barkstar." Spiderfang replied. "And Flareheart until you become a warrior you shall be known as Flarepaw." "Flarepaw, Flarepaw, Flarepaw!" Everyone cheered.
