One moon later, Barkstar had called a meeting at the end of the day. "As you all know, We have recently had three more apprentices become warriors." Barkstar began. "But we have two more apprentices ready to become warriors." Barkstar said. "Morningpaw and Nightpaw." Barkstar meowed. "I Barkstar, leader of Leafclan, call upon our warrior ancestors to look down on these two apprentices." "Were becoming warriors!" Morningpaw purred quietly. "I can't believe this is happening!" "I know!" Nightpaw replied. "I wonder what our new names will be!" "Nightpaw, Morningpaw, Do you promise to uphold the warrior code, and defend this clan even at the cost of your lives?" "I do." Nightpaw meowed. "As well I" Morningpaw replied. "Then by the powers of Starclan, I give you your warrior names." Barkstar began. "Morningpaw... from this moment forward, you will be known as Morningshine." Barkstar meowed. "And Nightpaw... from this moment on, you will be known as Nightfeather." Barkstar continued. "Starclan honors you both and will welcome you as full warriors of Leafclan." Barkstar said. "I'm am proud to have you both as warriors. And by tradition, you two must sit in silent vigil, until the sun rises." "Morningshine! Morningshine! Morningshine!" Everyone cheered. "Nightfeather! Nightfeather! Nightfeather!" "Meeting dismissed." Barkstar said before jumping down. "We're warriors!" Morningshine purred, while padding to the center of camp, and Nightfeather followed. They both sat down and watched the night sky.
