Chapter 30

Barkstar padded out of his den confused. "I dunno why I heard-" Barkstar stopped and looked at the camp. "What in the name of Starclan happened while were were asleep?" Nightfeather and Morningshine stared at Barkstar. "You can speak now just tell me what happened!" Barkstar demanded. "You have no idea." Morningshine meowed. "Go and get some rest, and tell me exactly what happened here when you wake up!" Nightfeather and Morningshine padded into the warriors den. "Well now I know what Dawnfeather meant by the forest getting more dangerous!" Nightfeather mumbled. "We nearly died!" "Yea." Morningshine replied. "Anyway let's get some rest, we have a lot of explaining to do when we wake up." Nightfeather layed down and had fallen asleep after a minute, Morningshine had fallen asleep too.

"Hello again Dawnfeather." Nightfeather meowed. "Hello you two." Dawnfeather replied. "And congrats on becoming warriors!" "Thanks!" Morningshine purred. "And we get now that the forest is now deadly." "Yea But make sure nobody in that clan knows what happened." Dawnfeather meowed. "How?" Nightfeather asked. "Barkstar demanded us to tell him what happened." "You can tell Barkstar but he cannot tell the rest of the clan." Dawnfeather replied. "Alright." Morningshine meowed. "I must go now." Dawnfeather mumbled. "I need to go see what Scarstar is doing in his clan, goodbye you two." "Well now we know to stay safe." Nightfeather murmured. "Anyhow let's just-" They both had awakened. Barkstar padded in and beckoned Morningshine and Nightfeather to come to his den. "Well we have a lot of explaining to do Nightfeather." Morningshine murmured. "Yea." Nightfeather replied. "But what will we tell Barkstar to tell the clan?" "I don't know." Morningshine mumbled. "But we have to tell him something!" Morningshine and Nightfeather followed Barkstar into his den, and sat down. "What happened while we were sleeping last night?" Barkstar asked sternly.
