@MaddieBennett: rest in peace my beautiful Nona. I'm so happy I got to fly out and see you just before you passed. You were my grandma and my best friend AND you even played the father role as mine was never around. I love you with all my heart and I'm so sad that this is the end of the road. You taught me how to ride a bike, you were the one to go and watch me and Brodie play football down at the field and cheer us on even though we were the only ones playing. You made me go to school everyday and forget about the bullies who made me come home crying everyday because I had a 'messed up' family. You were the main one to help me through Brodie's death and you were the hardest to say goodbye to when I came to London. I thought nothing would be harder, until I had to say goodbye again but this time forever. No one will ever understand how much this beautiful lady meant to me and how hard it was seeing her in that hospital bed knowing when I say goodbye, it really was goodbye. However I'm so happy I was told in time to come down and spend your last few hours with you. You taught me so many morals and more importantly to love and respect myself and that I'm beautiful even if people say I'm not because it's my personality that counts (and the Hispanic in me as you always said) I love you with all my heart Nona rip😞💕
