Summer's POV

Two weeks.

14 days.

336 hours.

20,160 minutes.

1,296,000 seconds and counting since I last saw Justin.

The feeling to describe how I felt, was indescribable. I just felt like a knot was balled up in my stomach, and I wanted to get rid of it. I would do anything, to not feel what I'm feeling now.

I just don't understand why. I mean, I know we weren't anything official, but there was something there. Well at least I thought there was. But I guess I thought wrong.

He called me the first few days, but I ignored each one. I have about 50 voicemails, and about 100 text from him. But I wasn't going to give in. I've never been in a relationship, but I've seen to many to know how the end of that road looks.

Thank god school ended last week. I don't want to see anybody. I don't want to hear anyone. Nothing and no one. However, the silence is just as harmful as the noise. Because in silence, I start thinking; The worst thing I can do.

"Summer?" I heard a knock on the door.

"Come in." I said sitting up in my bed. Caity quickly popped her head in through the door.

"How are you feeling?" she asked, making her way over to me.

"Like shit." I responded.

"Well then... let's go do something!" I gave her a blank stare.

"I'm serious! Schools over, and you haven't done anything yet! You need to get out the house." Caity said walking over to my window, opening my blinds.

"What the?! Close the blinds there's to much light!" I covered my eyes with my arm.

"And go take a shower. You smell awful! No offense." To be honest, I couldn't even remember when was the last time I showered.

"I don't want to go to any of your stupid parties!" I pulled my blanket over my face.

"Summer, why would I take you to a party? We all know how that ended last time." Caity froze.

"Yep. It ended with me leaving Justin. But I guess the roles have turned now, huh?" I said, quietly playing with the fabric of my cover.

"Summer I didn't me-"

"It's fine Caity. Really. I'm going to go hop in the shower real quick." I crawled out of bed, making my way to the bathroom.

I finished my shower about 15 minutes later, entering back into my room.

"So where do you want to go?" Caity asked.

"I don't want to go anywhere." I sharply responded.

"Well staying here isn't an option." Caity folded her arms, shifting her attention towards me.

"Then let's go to your house."

"Summer. We. Are. Going. Out."

"Fine."

"Good! Now get dressed and meet me downstairs in five minutes!" Caity gave me a smile, heading back to the family room.

I had no intentions of getting ready to go anywhere, but I knew Caity would be up here in minutes, putting my clothes on for me, if I didn't obey her orders. I just grabbed a yellow tank-top, and a pair of jean shorts, slipping them on. I pulled my hair into a ponytail, heading down the stairs. I made sure to make lots of noise, taking my time to make sure Caity knew I wasn't happy with this. But she didn't really seem to care, as she grabbed my arm pulling me out the door, to the car.
