Constantly swimming
Been swimming since the day I was born
I keep myself from thinking
By swimming evermore
I don't know what will happen
If ever I were to stop
I keep going, I hear clapping
The smell of food really pops
I see an odd shape in the water
It's near the water's surface
It moves like no other creature
It does not belong in this place
I take a bite, for research
But it's not how I thought it would taste
And just to make matters worse
It punches me in the face
I swim away from that thing
I know it is bad news
I live, and keep on swimming
Forgetting those memories, too
I swim, I eat, I am, repeat
That's just how it goes
Surviving on all the fish meat
A life like no-one knows
One day, I grew too tired
And my body began to slow
The movement that I required
Had quickly begun to go
Constantly swimming
Been swimming since the day I was born
I keep myself from thinking
By swimming nevermore
