The Broadest Horizon

You probably thought of a sunny day
But there's much more to nature's way
The broadest horizon one might ever know
Unfurled before those willing to go

Let's start in the mountains, where the harsh breeze
Must be weathered unless you wish to freeze
You reach the top like others before
And feel the rush of your accomplishment more

Then go to the oceans, they get quite deep
The unexplored underworld that is hard to reach
The creatures that thrive there are bizarre and unique
Light up the darkness for a hopeful peek

Onward we roam, to the jungles galore
Snakes, frogs, and birds, that's what's in store
Plant growth is dense, supporting all kinds of life
Stay aware of your surroundings or find yourself in strife

One more stop on this quick little trip
To the desert we go, where the sandstorms do whip
And the heat from the sun becomes our regret
We should hope for an oasis to stay cool yet

And that is but a taste of the nature out there
A nature that is wild, unruly, yet fair
A world full of life and struggle, to be sure
But also a world for the brave to explore
