Chapter 17: Everything

Bella POV

I glanced up as the door opened to see who the person was before letting my head fall back down. I was too busy in my thoughts to smell or hear anyone come up. I sighed in annoyance.

The bed dipped to the side and I glanced over at Jasper's worried face.

"I'm-"

"You're not fine."

I grumbled in annoyance and smashed a pillow in my face debating whether I should scream in it, or go punch a wall. Maybe Emmett.

I knew I should probably tell Jasper everything that's going on in my mind. All the thoughts that are eating me alive and get them off my chest, but I don't think I could. Besides, I have to make phone calls. Yes, an excuse.

I decided I was just going to scream when the pillow was pulled gently away. I scowled at Jasper as he held the pillow in his hands. He looked at me pleadingly.

"Please tell me, Bells." He begs.

Just like that, the walls I just built crumble under his gaze. I sigh and sit, throwing my feet over the side of the bed. I scoot closer and rest my head on his shoulder. He wraps his arm around my shoulder and I pour out everything I've been thinking since the end of the Skype call.

Speaking of which, I really need to speak to Emmett and Peter. I'll probably end up bolting them to the wall or cage them.

Jasper listens silently, nodding at certain times. He doesn't interrupt once and only speaks after I fell like I've poured my heart out, which I'm thankful for.

He leans back and looks at me for a moment. I twitch nervously not liking that he hasn't commented, making me feel uneasy.

"Well?" I ask slowly. He shakes his head slightly as if clearing his thoughts.

"You'll do fine. You always have. I believe you can do it, we all do. Why do you think we chose you?" He asks smiling slightly.

I grin. "Because I'm extremely hot and awesome?" I joke innocently.

He laughs making all my nerves skitter away into nothing. "You sure are something. Don't worry, we'll all be there. No matter what happens." He kisses my nose and I pull him into a thankful hug.

Soon, I pull away. "I have to go make those calls now. I've only got a few hours now until I have to Skype again. Make sure everyone's ready, yes?"

He nods and gives me one last kiss before heading away.

I glance at the clock again and pull out my phone. Time to make some calls.

"What the hell do you mean your still about a day away, Jacob?!" I snap at him.

So far, everyone else was making good time. I had spoken with each group of vampires for about an hour or so before calling the next person, just to waste time.

"Well, we had lost a few members and then there was food......" Jacob trails off making me roll my eyes. Food, of course.

"Food, of course. Because you absolutely can't find it anywhere here in Italy or the castle." I say sarcastically.

"I'm not drinking bl--"

"I'm not talking about blood you delinquent! Just," Fang opened the door and I gave him a look to be quiet. "hurry up and run faster. I have no idea when the trio plan on attacking but I know it will be soon. I have to find Alice."

He sighs. "Alright, I'm on it." With that he hangs up.

I slip my phone back in my pocket before gesturing Fang in. Sofia not to far behind him-of course-follows suit.

"What's up?" I ask.

He sifts from one foot to another and Sofia suddenly looks sick, unlike her usual bubbly self.

"They Skyped and hour early. He's kind of impatient now." Fang explains hesitantly watching my reaction.

If this wasn't such a serious situation I would have laughed at how scared he seems of me for the first time in a long time. I nod stiffly and gesture them to leave.

They were going to get hell out of me the moment I enter that damn room.
