Summer of Boys

Alexis's POV

"I told you she was going to die!" I blow my nose and lay it with the pile of tissues I have beside me. 

"But they can't kill Alison! She never got back with Scott!" Ashley says blowing her nose as well. 

"Come on lets go!" I throw all my tissues away and grab Ashley's hand leading her out the classroom. Yes we just skipped class to watch Teen Wolf. But hey who wouldn't do that? Am I right?

"Alexis!" I turn around to find my bestfriend Leslie running down the hall like a crazy person. Ashley waves goodbye and leaves me to talk to my crazy friend alone. 

"What?" Leslie bends down on her knees catching her breath from running down the hallway. Ya she's not much of a runner. She plays volleyball which lets face it you don't do a whole lot of running. I should know since I've played for the last five years. 

"My dad... he said yes." She takes a big breath and stands up straight.

"Said yes to what exactly?" 

"THE TRIP TO LOS ANGELES!!!" Leslie screams in my face and I have to put my hand over her mouth to keep her from bringing attention to the two girls skipping class.

"That's awesome when do you leave? How long are you staying?" I'm so happy for her. She's been begging her dad for months to let her go.

"I think you mean when do we leave." Leslie reaches into her back pocket and pulls out two tickets one that just so happens to have my name on it!

"WHAT? I'M GOING?!?!?!?!?" Now I don't even care if we get caught. I grab Leslie's hand and jump around the hallway. I know I'm acting like a two year old but I swear I'm 18. 

"Yup we're leaving the day after graduation. Some people are going to senior week but we are going to L.A. having the summer of our life!" I hug Leslie squeezing so tight I'm pretty sure neither one of us could breath. 

"This is awesome! The day after graduation? That leaves us with only a week! We better go pack!" I drag Leslie down the hall not bothering about class. 

"Whoah slow down what about class?" I stop in my tracks and give her a glare before I reluctantly let her drag me back to History.

Graduation was amazing! I can't believe that I Alexis Kentworthy am a highschool graduate. Leslie and I have been texting nonstop with stuff to bring and other things to keep us entertained on the flight over there. It's a six hour flight from BWI to LAX so we will have plenty of time of sitting around. 

"Alexis, remember when your over there to always be careful of who's around you and where you are." 

"I know mom I'll be ok I promise." My mom has given me this lecture about a thousand times already. I'm surprised she's even letting me go. Not that I'm complaining or anything!

Beep beep beep beep 

I slam my fist down on the annoying thing that happens to be my alarm clock. "Leslie wake up." She spent the night since we have to be at the airport so early. Try 7 o'clock early. 

"Grrr." I hear come from the other side of the bed and I laugh as I watch Leslie cover her face with a pillow. 

I get up grabbing my airport clothes and head to the bathroom to take a shower.

"Flight 396 to Los Angeles is now boarding." 

"Leslie come on." We both grab all our bags and get in line to hand the lady our tickets. 

Once we are seated comfortably I pull out my phone to send a quick text to my mom letting her know we boarded and are getting ready to take off. "Please turn off all electronic devises." I hear over the intercom and do as I'm told, seeing as the last thing I want is for this plane to crash. 

"Hey Alexis I have a great idea that will make this summer unforgettable." Leslie tells me as the plane begins to take off. 

She waits until we are level before she begis to speak again. "Why don't we have a little competiton to see who can get the most boys while in L.A.?" I practically choke on my water as I look at her a little confused.

"A competition?" 

"Ya like if I get with the most guys I win and if you get with the most guys." She stops there and begins to laugh slightly.

"Are you saying that you think you can get more guys than me?" I'm a little offended not gonna lie. 

"Oh honey I don't think, I know." She gives me a small smirk before waiting to hear my rebuttal. 

"You're on!" We shake hands and Leslie goes back to reading her magazine. I'll show her. Summer of Boys here I come!

A/N

Hey guys so here's the first chapter of Summer of Boys! I hoped you like it and if you haven't noticed already from the cover and the description this is a Dylan O'brien story. Well he's in it and I'm going to try to throw in some of the other Teen Wolf cast mates as well like a certain Tyler Posey!
