After breakfast Cameron and Sadie run upstairs so play and they drag Dylan with them. I stay back helping Jenny clean the kitchen. "Are you happy?" Jenny asks as she hands me a plate to dry. I look back towards the stairs where Dylan just disappeared to, "Yea I am. I'm so happy." I laugh and Jenny joins me giving me a hug.

We finish doing the dishes and I plan on walking upstairs to find Dylan when I see that the mailman has just left. I run outside throwing the mailbox open, grabbing the contents inside. Walking back inside I sift through the mail seeing things for Jenny and Morgan and finally there's an envelope with my name on it from the Office of Admissions at UCLA. I place the rest of the mail on the counter opening the letter for me as Jenny looks at me expectantly.

After reading the first sentence I stop and put it on the table. "Well? Did you get in?" Jenny asks eagerly. "I..." I stop looking back to the paper. Jenny's face falls and she takes a step closer to me "Oh honey, it's ok."

"I got in." Jenny's eyes go wide and soon she has a wide smile on her face and is pulling me into a bone crushing hug. I hug her back and let my smile take over my face. "I can't believe I got in."

"You deserve this." Jenny whispers in my ear before pulling away and shooing me upstairs to go tell Dylan. When I reach Sadie's bedroom I lean up against the door frame watching Dylan play dolls with her. I smile at the perfect moment right in front of me, until Dylan looks up and stands up walking towards me. "Hey beautiful." He wraps his arms around my waist and I lay my head on his chest savoring this moment. "Come on, lets go out." I pull Dylan along with me grabbing the keys on my way out.

I knew exactly where I was taken him so I choose to drive and listen as Dylan grumbles in the passenger seat. He's always hated riding passenge to me because he feels like as the guy it's his job to drive me around. I usually don't complain because I'm really not a huge fan of driving, but today was my treat to him.

After a half hour of driving we pull into the parking lot being able to see the farris wheel in the distance. "The Santa Monica Pier?" Dylan asks smiling as he takes my hand in his walking towards the entrance. "Do you remember the last time we were here?" I ask looking up at him as we make our way down the pier.

A smile comes to his lips as he rubs circles on my hand with his thumb. "I do. I have the memory right here on my phone." He pulls out his phone and sure enough the picture I was looking at before is his background. I lean up on my tip toes and give him a light kiss before continuing to walk down the pier.

It is now 9 o'clock and I still have not told Dylan about my acceptance letter. The whole day we walked the pier and played games since I'm not really the ride kind of person. Lets' just say amusement parks, not my thing.

We are currently leaning against the railing watching the waves crash onto the shore. I spot a couple walking down the beach holding hands and smile at the fact that that's what I have. I always wanted someone I could walk down the beach with or stay up late watching the sunset. I finally have that and I couldn't be happier. I figured now's as good a time as any and take a deep breath before turning to face him.

"Dylan I have to tell you something." He gives me that award winning smile and all my nerves I was feeling vanish. "I got into UCLA." I say watching the smile on his lips get bigger. "Alexis that's amazing!" He tries to give me a hug but I take a step back. "There's one more thing." He puts his arms to his side and nods for me to continue.

"I've been trying to figure out a way to tell you this but every idea I had just didn't seem right. So I figured I would just man up and tell you what it is. I love you Dylan. I think I have since the first time we were here on this pier in this exact spot. I've said stupid stuff and you know you have to, but that never stopped me from loving you." I look into his eyes hoping to see a trace of a smile or something but there's nothing. Oh gosh what if he doesn't love me anymore? I know I hurt him but I thought we had moved past this.

"Is it my turn?" Dylan asks looking me straight in the eye. "Yes.

"Ok, well Alexis Kentworthy I love you. I have never stopped since you walked out on me that first party where you saw me with Britt. I was just afraid to tell you because I knew you were leaving at the end of the summer and I didn't want it to be harder on you than it was already going to be. But now that I know you are going to be going to school ten minutes from my house I have the courage to tell you I love you and ask you a very important question." He takes a deep breath and rubs his hands on his jeans, something he always does when he's nervous.

"Alexis, will you move in with me?" At first I think I heard him wrong but as I look into his awaiting eyes I know I heard correctly. So taking a deep breath I smile and say "yes." A huge smile breaks out on Dylan's face and he wraps me in a hug picking me up and spinning me around. He takes my hand and holds it in the air shouting "She said yes." Everyone around begins to applaud and I can't help but laugh at how everyone thinks we are getting married.

"I love you Dylan O'Brian."

"And I love you Alexis Kentworthy."

I bring my lips to his in a breath taking and passionate kiss.
