One week. That's all I had until my time in L.A came to an end. I've been having fun just hanging out with Jenny and Morgan along with Sadie and Cameron. Leslie and I have been keeping contact to a minimum to avoid any conflicts and frankly I'm grateful for it.
Morgan took me onto set of a documentory he was working on and it was really cool to be able to see how directors work and everything that's put into making a documentory. Spending the summer here with them made me take a whole new perspective on everything. I love the time I spent with my family here, finally getting to know the real them.
I haven't spoken to Dylan since I blew up on him in his apartment and although I tell everyone I'm happy about it, I can't help but feel sad everytime I look through my phone and see his name or see a picture we took together. I guess that's all I'm left with, pure memories captured in pictures. About a week ago Tyler Posey called me apologizing for the way he acted and asked for my fogiveness. Of course I gave it to him, it was good to have him back as a friend, along with Seana.
Today I've decided to meet up with Holland for lunch, grabbing my phone and wallet I head out to the car. We're meeting on set but she promised me Dylan wasn't coming today. When I get their the lady at the gate immediately signals me through and I find a spot right up front. I climb out of the car and walk towards set to see them in a middle of a take.
I walk around making sure not to disturb them and make my way to Holland's trailer. There's trailer's lined up in a row and I walk aimlessly around until I find Holland's. Opening the door I step inside and immediately am hit with the scent of vanilla. I guess she liked the bath and body works perfume I gave her. Taking a seat on the couch I scroll through my phone trying to delete pictures so I have more space for the new update.
I smile remembering the moments all these photos were taken deleting some and keeping others. I stop once I come across the album filled with pictured from my time spent in L.A. There's pictures of Leslie and I in front of the hollywood sign and other hisorical places. Next I come across a picture I took my fourth week here and I remember the exact moment this picture was taken.
It's of Dylan and I on the Santa Monica pier. Dylan wanted to surprise me so he took me to the pier, and we spent the day walking on the beach and walking up and down the pier. The picture was taken by a woman who offered to take it because she said it looked beautiful with the sun set behind us. Dylan has his arms around me and we both have huge grins on our faces. I remember how happy I was in that moment and the woman saying how cute of a couple we made, made it ten times better.
I can feel tears come down my face and it's not until I hear someone caugh that I realize I'm not alone. I look up and see Holland standing their with a sympathetic smile on her face. Without saying a word she takes a seat on the couch and wraps me in her arms letting me cry into her shoulder.
Leslie's POV
I can't take it anymore. I ruined Alexis's summer with one stupid drunken conversaton. She hasn't spoken to me in weeks and this is the longest we have ever gone without making up after a fight. Morgan and Jenny speak to me but you can tell they're on Alexis's side and who can blame them? They're her family not mine.
I walk outside, knowing Alexis has the car I pull out my phone and dial the number I never thought I would use again. It rings three times until he picks up with a hello. "Hey Jake I need a favor?"
----
Twenty minutes later I'm sitting in Jake's car outside a place I never thought I'd go to again. The first time being when Alexis was so excited to point it out to me. I can't believe I even remembered how to get here. I give Jake a quick thanks before climbing out faintly hearing him yell about me making it up to him. Gross, I can't believe I actually hooked up with that guy. Alexis was right about me, I guess it just took me this long to realize it.
