Tomorrow. Tomorrow's the day that Leslie and I are leaving. I mean I'm coming back in a week so it's not as bad but I'm still going to miss everyone like crazy. Leslie and I decided that we were going to cook dinner for Jenny and Morgan to thank them for everything they've done for us. I'm currently standing in the kitchen waiting for Leslie to come home with the groceries.
"So what are you guys making?" Dylan asks poking his head out of the fridge.
"Shrimp carbonara with a cesar salad." I said smiling, pretty proud with myself at coming up with the recipe.
"Sounds great." Dylan exclaimed coming closer to me.
"Now I believe we have a few minutes before Leslie returns." He says leaning closer placing small kisses on my neck. "Don't start something you can't finish." I laugh but soon stop once he hits my sweet spot.
After Dylan tortured me for a while moving painfully slow up my neck I pull his face to mine crashing my lips against his. I can feel him smile into the kiss and he licks my bottom lip asking for entrance which I deny. Ha it's my turn to torture him. He lifts me up placing me on the counter causing me to gasp. He uses the opportunity and soon is exploring my mouth with his tongue. I tangle my fingers in his hair tugging lightly at the roots. He bites my bottom lip making me want him even more.
We hear someone caugh from behind us finally pulling us apart. "Well if you don't mind Dylan, I believe Alexis and I have some cooking to do." Leslie said while smirking at the both of us. Dylan nods helping me off the counter before pecking my lips one last time and heading out the door.
I turn my head avoiding Leslie's smirk trying to make the red in my cheeks go away. "Let's just start cooking." I say finally turning around grabbing one of the many bags she's holding.
"Yea just don't put any food there." She says pointing at the counter I was previously making out with Dylan at. "Shut up!" I throw a baby carrot at her and we both crack up laughing. I start chopping up carrots while Leslie gets the shrimp ready. "You know I'm sorry right? I know I've never said it."
"Why?" I ask looking sideways at Leslie.
"I told you I was jealous and drunk-"
"No I mean why have you never apoligized to me?" I can feel tears starting to form but they aren't going to fall quite yet.
Leslie takes a moment to think before finally speaking. "Honestly I don't know. Maybe I just knew that you were always going to forgive me and I did take you for granted. But I am going to spend the rest of my life making it up to you because you have been an amazing friend and I've been a crappy one in return." Leslie's now crying but she turns around continuing to deshell the shrimp.
"Hey." I turn her head towards me and she puts the shrimp down. "You haven't been a crappy friend. Heck I wouldn't have done half the things I have if it weren't for you. I never would have met Dylan either. And for that I have to thank you." She smiles at the end and so do I pulling her into a hug. She squeezes me back as we both cry into each others shoulders.
"Alright no more crying, we have a meal to cook." I wipe away my tears and go back to chopping vegetables.

"Alright, Leslie and I present shrimp carbonara." Leslie and I lift all the lids off the plates and watch as their smiles grow. Even Cameron and Sadie seem to think it looks yummy and they're pretty picky eaters. "Guys this all looks delicious. Thank you." Jenny gets up and gives us both a hug and a kiss on the cheek. We smile and take our sides next to Cameron and Sadie.
"Well dig in." I say and watch as everyone takes their first bite seeming to love it.
