"I just want to feel important to someone."

"OH, my god," I groaned and rolled over. "I don't wanna get up," I complained to Hayley. I opened up one eye and saw her laying on the floor, glarinf up at me. I couldn't help but giggle lightly. "Oops."

I got off the bed and made my day to the closet, grabbing out a pair of leggings and a long white shirt which I'm pretty sure once was Klaus', but I didn't care.

As I started changing, Hayley got up off of the floor and started getting ready, too.

Once we were both done, we made our way towards the kitchen. We ended up passing the room Klaus and Elijah was in.

As they walked by, Klaus' eyes followed Spencer's every movement until she was out of his view. Elijah watched him with saddened eyes, knowing how much Spencer means to his brother. He could see how much it hurt his brother that the girl he loves wasn't giving him the time of day, not like she used to, anyway.

I sat down on a stool as Hayley searched for milk. Out of the corner of my eye, I saw Elijah walk in.

"Good morning," He acknowledged us, sending both of us a small smile.

"Hey," Both Hayley and I said simultaneously. We looked at each other and giggled.

Rebekah then entered the room through the back door, dragging a trashcan behind her.

"Listen, I know Spencer and I are the only ones in this house that actually drink milk, but would it kill any of you to make sure it's on the grocery list?" Hayley asked, looking at Rebekah as her eyebrows scrunched together.

"Speaking of, add bleach," Rebekah stated as she stomped through the kitchen and into the living room, dragging the trash can behind her.

Elijah dug around in a cabinet as Hayley pulled ice cream out of the freezer. I smiled at her in satisfaction, she knows how much I love my ice-cream. "You know," Elijah started. "I do hope my siblings were hospitable to you both, in my absence," He said, not looking at us, still scrounging for something in the cabinets.

"In your absence, as you like to call it, which is a way-too-polite way of saying that your brother put a dagger in your heart..." I started with a sigh, leaning against the counter. I looked up to see Elijah bringing a bowl, a spoon, and a bag of cereal towards me. "We have been attacked by French Quarter vampires, We've had to live in a house with my ex boyfriend who broke my heart, and we were nearly murdered by witches who are convinced my baby is Lucifer," I stated as if it was a everyday thing. "Also let's not start with the wolf or wolves that have been protecting Hayley and I," I added after a moment of silence.
