HAYLEY and Spencer approached Jackson as he watched Oliver and another wolf sparring.

They had used the antidote that Celeste gave them and it worked which meant a celebration was due.

"Shouldn't you be out there playing Fight Club with the rest of the frat boys?" Hayley asked - more like flirted - with Jackson.

"Nah. That's just for pecking order." He smiled at her. "They already know who's the Alpha."

"Ohh! Next up!"

The three of them went back inside, where the rest of the Crescent wolves are setting the table for dinner.

"You gotta try Tucker's ribs," Jackson told the both brunettes.

He told them that Hayley was some high ranked wolf in the pack which kinda made her alpha apparently. It's some weird family thing that is passed down from Labonair to Labonair.

"Then, what? Then we're gonna go play horseshoes?" Hayley questioned, crossing her arms.

Jackson just laughed at that. "Hey! Don't mock country living, darlin'," he spoke in his thick country accent. Spencer would've thought it was cute if she didny favor the British accent.

"Sorry. This is just a lot more family fun than I'm used to," Hayley informed Jackson.

"Well, maybe I can help you get used to it." He flirted with her which made Spencer fake gag.

Oliver then joined them. "Then, all we got to do is just forget that she spent half of their lives with humans, and the other half with vampires." He put some chicken in his mouth and looked  at Hayley which made Spencer growl.

"Ollie, back off," Jackson warned him.

"It's okay." Spencer stepped up, about to defend Hayley. "If the runt of the litter has got something to say, he should say it." She looked him dead in the eye, but he didn't back down and chuckled.

"You know, word from the Quarter is your boy Elijah's holding some kind of power summit." He licked his fingers to get rid of the grease. "Guess who wasn't invited?"

"Where did you hear this?" Hayley asked, narrowing her eyes at him.

"It doesn't matter. The point is is that we're stuck here living in the swamp, while your vampire boyfriend's deciding who gets what in the city," Oliver spoke, disgust clear in his tone of voice. "But, I guess that shows how much respect he's got for the werewolves, huh?"
