"Scooter. It's time to eat lunch!" I exclaimed. Everyone hurried their way to the lunchroom for some food. Scooter and I had to stop by my locker first, I had to put away some of my stuff.
"Excuse me Miss Jaina." I heard a stern voice say behind me. I groaned and turned around.
Mrs. Brukeeni: The worst teacher you will ever meet, and she has no style.
"Um... Yes Mrs. Brukeeni?" I answered. "All pets were instructed to stay outside while students ate inside. Am I correct?" She spurted out on me.
"I actually don't know, I wasn't listening." I snapped. I am sorry, but I have to be mean to her. (She isn't nice to anyone else anyways.)
"I don't suppose you have a hall pass. Now do you?" She cackled and put her hand out. I cringed and muttered a small "No."
"Well then. I guess we will have to call your parents to take your abomination home. And you'll be going to detention after school." She croaked and pulled me to the principals office.
From the secretary's office I could hear Mrs. Brukeeni screaming at the principal telling him how horrible I was. I didn't even do anything bad, but she thinks I'm a criminal.
"I want that child expelled!" She bellowed. "Now. Now... Mrs. Burkeeni, All Jaina did was forget a hall pass, don't push her punishment. I will talk to her."
I looked up and my principal was pushing Mrs. Brukeeni out of the office while she was yelling "this isn't fair! She should be expelled!"
Mr. dodgridge (my principal) dragged me into his office. He looked angry until he closed his door.
"Did you see how mad she was? He face was priceless!" He laughed. I started to laugh, but then he got serious. "You gotta stop leaving your hall passes in class. I can't stand up for you everytime something happens." she said.
"I know. It's just... She is a real pain... And I hate it when she tries to get me in trouble." I replied.
"Well to be fair to both of you, I will give you a warning." He winked. Now hurry back. School is ending soon.
And that's why I like Mr. Dodgridge. He treats me like I'm family, with kindness and respect.
I hurried home after school with Scooter and did my homework. I didn't want Mrs. Brukeeni snapping on me again tomorrow.
