I can believe I woke up in Florida! We were right on the beach.
"Are we there yet....." I moaned.
"I will tell you when we are there, just sit tight." My mother said turning onto a long street.
All of the houses were right on the beach you could see the ocean from the car. "Wow!" I said staring in awe.
Mom pulled into a driveway. The house was small but cute. When we stopped mom woke Zach and we went to the door.
Walking in wasn't what I expected it to be. The living room floor was a ugly blue with pee stains on it. Stupid animals. (No offence to the awesome animals.)
The living room was connected to the kitchen/dining room. It was super tiny. Behind the kitchen was an area with four doors.
"I call this one!" Zach said shoving me and running into a bed room.
"So this is a one-bathroom house?" I asked mom. She nodded. I felt sick inside. I have to SHARE a bathroom with Zach! This is horrible.
I put my bags down in my room. Which of course was the ugliest one of all. I put on my bathing suit, got some sunscreen on and started walking out the door.
"Where are you going?" My mom asked stopping me. "I'm going to take Scooter to he beach." I said.
"Ok. Be back before dark. Don't get abducted." She said. "I wont." I promised.
The beach was my favorite place to be. I could improve on my tan, meet boys, play in the ocean, make a sand castle, and whatever fun things come my way.
I brought a frisbee for Scooter. His best and only good trick was to fetch, and swim. A little....
After hours of swimming, I got out a beach towel and sat down. Scooter kept chasing gulls. I would throw crackers and Scooter would fight sea gulls for them.
It started getting dark so I headed back up to the house. I washed myself off and gave Scooter a quick bath.
Scooter started running back down the walkway. "Scooter no!" I screamed. He stood at the bottom of the steps and started puking. Poor pup drank too much salt water.
