My mom told me that I should spend more time training Scooter and less time showing him off to my friends.
"Sit Scooter!" I shout. No movement. "Scooter.... Sit!" I said firmly. No response.
I have no idea what I am doing wrong. So I took out the pet training book and flipped to the dog section.
LESSON 1
WHEN IT COMES TO A DOG, IT FEELS LIKE THE ALPHA. DON'T LET THE DOG WALK ALL OVER YOU. MAKE YOU SPEAK TO DOG WITH CONFEDENCE AND TRUST.
"Ok that lesson led me no where." I told Scooter. He waved his head to the left. "Your confused already!" I said louder than I thought. Scooter backed down and laid down. "Oh Scooter I'm sorry."
Scooter must of understood that because he got right up and stopped listening.
