Jaina'sPOV

The shatter of the window made an ear-splitting sound. It was all a blur. My vision darkened and a sharp pain shot through my leg.

My vision began to clear. But seeing the mess was a disaster. A tree was completely in my room, branches surrounding me like a boat in an ocean. My leg continued to sting. I examined myself and noticed the problem. There was a stick in my calf.

A plugged in lava lamp on Jaina's dresser was broken during the tree accident. Starting a fire.

"Scooter!" I yelled between sobs. I couldn't have anything happen to him. Who knows what was going to happen next. I would've went after him but 911 told me to stay put. Then I started to smell smoke.

After another five minutes, police cars, Ambulances, and fire trucks pulled up. A paramedic came up to me and dragged me out of the house. I fought to stay but then he told me a fire had started and it wasn't safe. Why would something like this happen.

Jaina'sPOV

I cried as I pulled the stick out of my leg. It felt a bit better. I heard barking and my heart sank. Scooter wiggled from some branches and whimpered. Tears streamed down my face as I petted him. "What are we going to do." I cried. Smelling smoke I just cried more. "Go! Go away!" I looked at Scooter. He needs to leave he can't be here. I tried pushing him but he wouldn't leave. Scooter laid his head on my thigh. Was this it?

I began to see ashes and flames emerging from the brush. The end was coming and I couldn't do anything.

Then voices screamed from beyond. I yelled back to tell them I was here. My voice was raspy and small. The repeated the same thing over again several times. They couldn't hear me.
"Hello!" I tried again. Scooter looked at my face and I got an idea. "Scooter. Speak!" I yelled the command multiple times until he obeyed. Then the voices stopped, and I blacked out.

They then found a young girl and her dog, passed out from the fumes.
