My Days With Scooter

Terrible Weather

Lately, my area I live in has had some really bad weather. Scooter has started to lay in the bathtub when thunder comes by. I was sitting in my room studying for an upcoming test and Scooter crawled next to me on my bed.

The thunder roared and he wimpered. I comforted him, he has been getting used to me again. He continued to cry until he finally got up and left the room. I heard the wind pick up and the trees bustling outside.

I heard a crack then it all went black.

Mom'sPOV

Scooter came sprinting into my bedroom barking. I jumped up to see what was the matter. I heard a crack and ran to Jaina's room. I swung my head around the doorway and I stopped breathing.

"Hello? 911? Yes im calling to report an injury" I said between sobs. "A tree branch... A tree branch crashed through my dauchters window and I can't get in." I got off the phone after giving the adress and started moving tiny branches and leaves.

Scooter wimpered and started digging at the tree limbs. Scooter climbed into the ruble. I screamed for him and tried calling him back. I wanted to get Zach but he was at a friends house. I needed to know both of my kids were safe.
