I looked at Gear who was standing beside me and looking down at my drawing. He smiled and dragged a chair to sit beside me. He was dressed casually, very casually. I looked at the stretched fabric around his arms. Not gonna lie. His arms were huge. He looked like a younger version of a body builder. He pulled out a box of chocolate and put it infront of me and kissed me on the cheek lightly. I smiled and hugged him "thank youuu~" he smiled and pointed to my drawing "how do you draw so good?" I chuckled and said "practise, just like you can cook good I wonder how, since I can barely use the microwave and heat up a pizza" he leaned his head back and laughed. I blushed a bit at my own embarrasment. Stupid! I knew I shouldn't have told him! I swatted his leg and he chuckled and embraced me. I thought about the day I came here. I had been fearing the day I was going to actually meet someone from the Wolfdales. It had been a horrible journey with Dante and his gang and I was afraid that it wouldn't end. Gear had been there for me. He had kicked their asses when they tried to hurt me and when he got spat in the face he threw them on the ground. He was a knight in shining armour. A protector. No wonder that Ruby looked at him like he was a god. He could classify as one if he wanted to. I stood up and kissed him lightly. He kissed me back and smiled. It was still lunch and Gear suddenly stopped. "could you wait here for me? I need to sort something out" I nodded and sat back down as he stood up and walked out. I realized now that Dante wasn't here, along with his gang. This was something new, what were they planning on? Was that what he was going to sort out- I was ripped from my thoughts by Dante flying through the door. He had blood running down his head. After a while Gear joined him. He was slightly more injured, I stood up. Who could possibly beat both of those two? Dante stood up and kicked Gear in the side. I sucked in a breath as I realized that I needed to do something. Gear wasn't his normal self. "Has that wimp made you weak captain?" he yelled at Gear as he kicked him again but this time in the head. I figgured that Dante was a vampire as well because of the scent. I stood up and looked around for something I could use. I had no time to think before Kyera came to his rescue and rammed her tail into Dante's throat. I heard the air go out of him when he fell to the ground. Kyera helped him up and Gear shrugged it off as if it was nothing. Kyera motioned for Gear to follow her and he did as she said.

I was listening to them through the door. I was sitting on the bench beside one of the fountains right beside the door. I heard them arguing inside "Gear! You can't just starve yourself like this! If you have any emotions you might think of Ashley!" Kyera had a slight stutter in her voice "I know, I know. I'm just. I'm just going through something." I heard the sadness in his voice. "Well! Talk about it!" Kyera only had anger in her voice. I didn't know that they knew eachother this well. "You want me to talk about torture? My father being a psychopath?!" Gear raised his voice and I slammed my hand to my mouth not to let out a gasp. I knew that they had excellent hearing so I needed to stay quiet. "You need to talk about it and not just keep it in you!" I could feel Gear giving her a cold stare. "What do you suggest I eat? Myself? Ashley?" Kyera's answer came a few seconds late. "How long can you last without flesh?" I shivered at the thought "A few years with a carcass. A few months with one bite." Wait, could he really hold his hunger for that long? "Then take a bite from me." I heard the rusteling from someone pulling their sleeve up. I guessed it was Kyera. "Fine." I heard the crunch from someone biting down into flesh and bone. I stood up and ran. Was his jaws this strong? That he without any issues could bite through tissue and bones? I didn't want to hear more and I ran to my room to think over what I just had heard.
