Angelwood Academy

Part 23

(Short chapter, sorry about that but it is the last one so...)

It was over quickly. Gear had finally killed Dante. After his aptempts to talk it out with the police, they caught him. It was over between us. Hopefully forever. I walked around, not thinking about it. Someone in the police department had done it to me. Wiped my memories of Gear away. All I can remember is Kyera being more down than usual. Ylva had become the captain of Wolfdale now. She went around threatning people. I thought that my journey here on Angelwood Academy was finally comming to an end. I was packing my stuff to leave this place. I hated this place more than anything in the world at the moment.

I walked outside of the housing area and looked at people who were leaving as well. For them it might have been just because they had finished their school years and went off to find a job. For me? It was hatred of the school, the people there. Everything. I walked out to the cab that was waiting for me. I got in and we drove out from the forest where the academy was placed in. On the way out, I saw something in the corner of my eye. It was a person. Someone jumping from tree to tree, following the cab. I decided to ignore it. The person kept on following us. I saw now that it was a female, who had burning red hair and something sticking out from her back. I had seen those things before. Whip like things and flower like things, balancing on their backs. I saw as the creature followed the cab. One of the things on her back picked up a rock and flinged it towards us. It didn't hit us, but the cab driver sped up, trying to avoid the mysterious creature. It sped up as well. Jumping faster between trees. After a while, the trees got fewer and fewer. The creature jumped out onto the road and ran beside us. I was suprised it could keep up with the car. It tried to slam against the side when something jumped onto it. It was similar to her, but a man. He was taller and had only one of those things on his back. I could only guess that it was the father. I shrugged and kept on looking forward. Such weird creatures.
