Part 18

--Elijah's POV--

I woke up to the sound of my alarm. It was Saturday and I had promised Ada that we would meet up. I didn't know why, but I felt kind of attatched to her. She was awfully sweet and seemed to know a lot about the school. I stood up and looked around. It was quiet except from the snores of course. I heard someone cuss from downstairs. I put on a nicer shirt and a bowtie. I didn't know why I did it, I just did. I had a pair of jeans on me as I put down my feet on the icy blue carpet. This was a whole different thing. It was lush and I sunk a bit when I took a step. No wonder it was a fancy school. This was something a royal could have in his or her bedroom! I grabbed my phone that was fully charged and walked downstairs from where I had heard the cuss. I looked at Dante who was sitting in a chair doing maths. This early in the morning? I looked at the watch and shook my head. It was 8:58 AM. In a few minutes I was going to meet Ada at breakfast. I took on my shoes and walked out of the house dormatory. I felt the smell of the damp air. It had been raining. I walked across the pathway that led to the school. I could have taken the way inside but I felt like I needed fresh air. I took a deep breath and smelled the sweet scent of roses and lillies. It was amazing to think of flowers that bloomed into August. This was something special. It was futuristic, but on the other hand, it was a highly advanced school. This was bound to be in the grounds. I realized that I hadn't seen Ashley in a while... Where was he? I decided not to overthink it and walked to meet Ada.

Ada was sitting and staring at a boy I recognized from before. His name was Zane (not referring to Aphmau get your head out of the gutter!) he was also in the Wolfdale house and seemed to hate it here. "Ada? Are you okay?" I sat down in front of her and she nodded silently as she moved her gaze to my eyes instead "you are the older brother to Ashley, right?" I nodded, not quite sure where she was going with the conversation "well, he has been missing." she motioned for Laurence and said with a hushed voice "he has been devestated. Kyera has also been missing. We think there is something bigger than just going back home going on here.." I looked startled. She looked at me "you okay?" I looked at her "yea, just a bit shook." she nodded understanding.

--Ashley's POV--

I didn't know for how long we had been sitting there. Kyera had been watching over the eggs for a while before bursting out to me "Ashley! They are hatching!" I climbed up on her tail and looked at the eggs. And as she said they were hatching. They were shaking around before a couple of snake like creatures climbed out of the eggs. Basilisks? It would make sence since they were in a cave and the entrance only showed itself a few times a day. I heard a knock on the boulder and jumped down to run towards it. I heard Gear's voice and then a few screams before the boulder shattered infront of me. I looked at him as he ran up to me and embraced me. I felt as his chest moved faster, hitching a few times. Was he crying? I pulled away to look at him and indeed he was crying. I kissed him and clinged onto him. He wiped his tears and picked me up. Kyera grabbed the snakes and they clinged onto her wings and horns. We walked back. As we walked inside we got a few applaudes. I thought about how Gear had acted when he found us. Was he that attatched to me? Ugh! Stupid question! Of course he was! I whispered something in his ear and he smiled and nodded "where?" he murmured. I didn't get a chance to answer as I saw Elijah and Ada sprint up to us. Gear put me down just in time for Elijah to hug me. This wasn't like him at all. Kyera grabbed my wrist and pulled me with her. I waved slightly to the others and smiling a bit to my self, knowing that Gear would come by and that we would spend the night together.

The night fell and in came Gear. I motioned for his shirt and he smiled and shook his head before taking it off. I was in awe of his muscles. I patted on the bed and he layed down. I ran my fingers down his abs and leaned my head against his chest and whispered. "I love you.." his heart beat faster when I said that. I guessed it was because he loved me back. "I love you too." he murmured and kissed me. I was starting to get dizzy, I guess it was because of the basilisks hatching. I started to feel funny and landed myself ontop of Gear, grinding him like a dog. This was a new feeling to me.

I woke up again on Gear's chest. He was awake and had sweat pooling on his forehead. I realized now that I was sweating as well. He chuckled and kissed me before I hopped off to get on my clothes. I realized that I didn't have any boxers on, as well as Gear. I started to blush and put them on real quick before throwing him his. He chuckled and took on his clothes before kissing me on the head and walking out. Had we just? No. Impossible.
