--Ashley's POV--

I didn't know how I felt about Elijah comming into the school yet. I was still trying to sort out my feelings for Gear aswell as my feelings for the school. I had considered leaving a few times. Since I didn't know what was going to happen at home. I bumped into Marco on the way and scoffed a "s. sorry" before standing up and running back to my dorm. Ah, Marco was one of the new students. He had joined the Foxbloods and was a bit. Strange. At least in my oppinion. I didn't know why but he had this feel to him that made me... everything opposite of comftroble. The same to his buddy Drake. He was the druggie. I felt a shiver go down my spine as I saw Dante. He ignored me this time and went back to talking to Emmica. She was a blonde rather mature girl. I could feel the hatred in me already. Was he trying to make Gear jealous because he would get a one night stand orrrr? I had no idea to be honest.

I felt my phone buzz and I looked at it. It was from Kyera "Meet me behind the school in 5, I have something for you, AND BE QUICK!" I shrugged and texted her "okay, i'll be there o~o" I used a lot of weird faces in my texts but who cared about that? I walked out and took a route that people almost never used here. It was dark where the big trees shaded the path that I was walking on. It took about 3 minutes to get to the back of the school. I saw Kyera behind a dumpster and I walked up to her. "What's up?" Kyera was borderline giddy as she spoke "I found something amazing! You HAVE to see this!" she grabbed my wrist and pulled me with her. I was so confused I just let her drag me along with her. She was probably the shortest person in the school that could transform into a gigantic creature. I looked around as we arrived. We were standing on a shore and right infront of us was a hollow cave. It had water going into it. Kyera curled up her jeans and walked out into the water. I was smart enough to have shorts on me today and walked out in the water with her. The water that struck me was ice cold and the shivers going from my feet up to my spine was everything but soothing. I kept on walking untill we got to the cave. I looked around it. It was cold in here. I grabbed my phone and looked at how cold it was. It was 0 degrees celcius. This was.. odd.. There were icicles hanging from the roof reflecting the sunlight into eachother which made it look like tiny lamps. Kyera was right, this was something that I needed to see. We walked deeper into the cave and crystals were shooting out from the walls. This was odd, crystals shouldn't be this close to the surface! Was this some kind of abnormal cave? I had no idea but it was beautiful. I had to admit that. "Whoa.." I said silently as I saw a nest made entierly out of crystals hanging off the roof. Kyera spread her wings, and now I noticed, they were torn. Not like torn in she had been using them too much, but torn in that somebody had ripped out pieces of them. She flapped them and got a bit of air and grabbed onto a crystal. She grabbed me with her tail and lifted me up. I had no idea she was this strong. I looked around and inside the nest were eggs. They were pulsating with life. A part of them were transparent and I saw a tiny embryo inside. I let out a small gasp escape my mounth.

--Elijah's POV--

I recieved the letter that I had gotten accepted. I read it out loud, nobody but Oliver was in here and I bet he wouldn't care less about this letter.

"Congratulations Elijah! You have been accepted into Angelwood Academy! We welcome you with open arms! Here is the basic informations you need to know:                                                        The Houses:                                                                                                                                                                            Foxblood: They never get in trouble, or at least they avoid it as much as possible. There is NO open spots in this house but we assure you it is worth to get a spot in one of the other wonderful houses aswell! The leader of the Foxblood will be shown on the wall the first thing you see in the Academy!                                                                                                                                                                                Wolfdale: These are the people who LOVE to party, there are numerous reports of them causing trouble, but no need to worry, they have an excellent captain who is sure to keep them under control at all times! There is ONE spot left in this house!                                                                            Dragonpride: As the name suggests, there are a lot of dragon like featured people in this house, no need to be alarmed. They are kept under control at all times. There is NO spots left in this house! But no need to worry! You can choose one of the other of our wonderful houses!"

I decided not to read more of this stupid letter. I mean, why would I? Oliver looked at me with curiousity in his eyes. "Are you reaaaallly joining that Academyy?" he asked with a rather annoying voice. "Like I have a choice? Ashley is probably caught up in some drama already, I need to look after him" I shot back at him. "That letter was stupid to me." he stood up to walk outside "Anyways, I'm heading home! I'll catch you later El!" I shrugged at the nickname 'El'. I felt humiliated by it. I put on headphones and started to write down my last will. This was going to kill me. Oliver had a point.  Why was I joining the Academy anyways? It was just stupid as ususal, my stupidity always got the upper hand in these things. I thought to myself not to go but I figgured that Ashley needed me more in that hellhole. I wondered if he was in Wolfdale aswell or if he was in another house. I didn't care less about this and went up to my room to listen to music. This was going to be hell of a day wasn't it. "Why Ashley? Why did you have to join that Academy?" I shrugged to myself as I went back to my music.
