Emily woke up slowly and peacefully. She felt something gently pinning her down, but she couldn't quite get a good sense of what was going on. Hazily, she gathered the memories from the last night. After craning her neck to see her situation, she realized she was tucked underneath Peter's hand. His chest moved slowly up and down, gently pressing her against his hand each time. Emily looked up and all she could see was his chin, but she sensed that he was sleeping still. She simply rested there, content to just stay in his embrace. Something about him just made her feel so...safe, almost loved, even. Loved? Did Peter Pan actually love her? Or was it just wishful thinking? But before she could reach a verdict on the matter, she felt his breathing change. He blinked awake with a loud yawn, before he glanced down at her, His features softened as he looked at her, a smile creeping onto his face. "Morning," he murmured, and she almost absolutely melted at the raspy, just-woken-up sound of his voice. "Morning," she whispered, knowing that a faint blush had found it's way onto her face . He chuckled softly. "Hope you weren't uncomfortable sleeping on my chest, Emily. Once you fell asleep, I just didn't have the heart to leave you alone." The two stared at eachother before a little black and white mass settled between them. "Well, good morning, Tootles." Emily laughed as she heard the others coming. They started jumping on Peter's lap like they running on nothing but sugar. "Can Peter come and play, Emily? Please, please, please!" Emily smiled," Of course he can! Besides, he has to get outside for some fresh air sooner or later." The boys lost their composure in a fit of laughter as Peter wore a look that feigned insult. He scooped them all up, tucking them into his pocket. The humor wasn't lost on him, and he laughed softly. " Can we play a game?" Nibs asked. "Red Rover! Red Rover!" the twins cried. " Or, how about we play Red light green light?" Emily suggested. That got the boys's interest and they looked at her. "Emily, what's 'Red light green light'?" Slightly asked. "Well, red light green light is when two people face each other, with a good amount of distance between them, then one stays still and says red light or green light in whatever order they want, now the other person walks forward towards the caller when they say green light, now the rule is you must stop when the caller says red light or you will start over, the goal is to walk up to the caller and touch them without moving on red light" she explained. The boys grinned eagerly and lined up once Peter set them down. Peter watched them carefully move towards Emily, only to freeze a moment or two later. Heck, Even Tink was getting into it. He glanced at Emily, she was just so full of life. Eventually the game reached it's end with Tootles being the winner. Peter set them in his pocket once again and started heading back to the hideout. Emily and Peter made eye contact right then and there, and Emily was positive she seen had just seen a glimpse of pure love in his eyes.
