Emily blinked...a flush of warmth spreading across her cheeks when
Peter rose to his feet...the swell of the fairies music soft...yet loud to her despite the unexpected thundering of her heartbeat in her ears. She felt a shiver of thrill race along her spine and a twinge of nerves in her belly...but a warm chuckle from her lover set her at ease and she lifted her eyes to see him standing over her, his hand outstretched in request.  She knew what he was asking...but a coy smile danced over her lips and the inker gave him a playfully innocent look...She wanted to hear him actually ask... Peter seemed to gather her meaning...and the boy rolled his brown eyes towards the sky in a silent laugh...before he smiled at her...and in his most charming of tones spoke..."May I have this dance?"....He grinned and presented his hand again, even offering her a hand up as a proper gentleman should with an extended finger. Emily's blush only deepened when he confirmed her thoughts....and she pursed her lips in thought, teasing him as she dragged out giving an answer...before a delicately beautiful smile graced her lips, eyes dancing teasingly as she reached out to take hold of of his fingertip, rising from her seat with a fluid grace. Normally, moving like that in a dress would have had her tripping head over heels in the furthest thing from beauty possible. Truth be told, being a bit of a tomboy, most times she wouldn't even bother with a dress...but, considering the occasion, she figured it was best...and upon arriving at Peter's surprise location and seeing the attire of the fairies she was glad she'd gone with the evening dress. A simple, but beautiful dress of deep blue that hugged her curves with just the right amount of tease while still majorly covering her figure. Something sweet and flattering, but also enough to get Peter blushing when she'd shown him before their departure. Luckily though, she managed to move about fine enough....stepping away from the table...jeweled earrings chiming softly with her movements as she held the hem of her dress to step up into the hold of Peter's palm. She smiled warmly when he held her close. Out in the open air and beneath the glow of fae lights and the stars.  Of course...Peter was a hopeless romantic like that~ "So, do you like it your little surprise..." Peter murmured softly, letting the music  drift out to them on their private little dance floor. "Oh, yes....I love this so much~" She laughed, winking up at her love, hugging his finger a bit closer ...until she was lifted closer to his face and trade his fingertip for his nose once it was within reach, wrapping her arms around the tip and nuzzling against the bridge... "Much, much better~" "I knew you would as much..." Peter chuckled, feeling his girl latch onto his nosetip the moment she could and he thrummed deeply in his chest, nuzzling at her with care as he cradled her close and he began to slowly move in the steps of a slow dance, swaying gently with the music. Peter didn't think he'd seen a more beautiful sight. Emily looked so pretty in the light of the fairies and she looked like goddess when she danced, but more importantly, she was dancing with him! He was sure he'd felt something like this before, only not as strong, for Wendy. What did she call it? Being "in love"? Then he looked into Emily's eyes and he saw something that made him forget everything going on in the back of his mind. Because what he saw in her eyes was what he was pretty sure he'd shown her in his own. Love. True love. He was pretty sure he'd died and gone to heaven. They danced and swayed in total bliss. All Emily could do was look into his perfect eyes. Then Peter lifted her up to his face to capture those pouting lips in a kiss. No words even needing to be spoken aloud to communicate their deep devotion to one another...the unending love that they shared... They were eachother's home.
