I'm gonna rant, we have FSA writing  ,  BUT WAIT!! IT'S DIFFERENT NOW IT'S ON THE COMPUTERS!!!!! FUCK THE BOX YOU GET TO WRITE IN IS SO SMALL IT'S THE SIZE OF MY HAND! I hope everyone fails so the state can see just how bad an idea this was. The brain learns and understands and idea better when it can see and take notes on a piece of paper, at least. I heard they're at least giving as that, a piece of paper to draft. I'm updating early since my FSA is today.. Ya... I'm not happy. WELLL I MEANT TO BUT APPARENTLY WATTPAD DIDN'T WANT TO!

The picture at the bottom expresses me...

Amy's POV

School was let out early and we walked with silence. Poppy for the most part had the same route home as me, so she walked with me while Evelyn and Lily split ways. Poppy broke the silence, "Well, that was an eventful day, President Keragold is coming to Miaskoa, you blew up the science room with Keon and a kid got killed."

"Every cloud has a silver lining, school got out early at least." I a gave a half-hearted smile. "Do you think this new event will make this president rethink coming here?" I pondered stretching my arms. "I mean his cabinet must advise him about the doings that occur? Plus, it's not like we're the most prosperous place, nor the neediest, so it's a pretty out-of-the-blue visit."

"Maybe he really is coming to help out."

"Then wouldn't he have done it a while ago? Or at least have send some help?" I retorted. "I'm to tired think." Poppy groaned

I wonder... What's he really coming here for?

The auburn-haired girl had left on a different trail not long after and I was left walking alone well not exactly alone, the other 'siblings' that I shared the household with were walking a little way ahead.

Something was ticking at the back of my mind, I looked up at the sky, it was a cold blue. No clouds, just an empty expanse of crystal blue, like ice. It felt annoyingly familiar, a memory, I tried to catch but it slipped out like a fish made of water. Yet it continued to tickle at the back of my mind.

Cars rushed by on the street, scattering dead leaves into the air. I hadn't realized that I had stopped walking until the worried shout from Zane snapped me out of my haze and back into reality. "Hey, Amy!" I snapped my head to look at him, "Yeah" I replied as I resumed walking. "I'm coming."

We arrived to the door of our narrow two-story house I slipped past the couch; Todd wasn't finished with his work and hadn't arrived home so he currently was not laxing on the cushions. I had reached the stairs and was about to climb them when someone called my name.

I twisted around to see the source of the voice. My mother stood with her hands behind her back, "Before you go and squirrel yourself away in your room I considered what Zane had said and the event that occurred I reasoned that maybe I was a little harsh." Her grey eyes met mine and she looked away. "So, I thought I redemption gift was in order." She showed what was behind her back. A white ceramic elephant, its smooth trunk curling up to meet its forehead. The elephant's mouth opens in a smile of greeting. Glassy eyes peered out at me. I took it gently from her hand and looked at it curiously.
