After Stage
Jennie sat down and Rosè followed, we huddled on the side and manager came
Manager: yedura...kinchana? I heard about the microphone dilemma, you guys alright?
Jennie: unnie to be honest I'm scared because the audience didn't seem to like the fact that there was microphone failures but we really tried our best. I think even the camera caught my worried face...I'd really tried my best.
Manager: hey guys...come on, YG just called me to let you guys know how proud he is of you guys because you still made it happen with confidence...you guys didn't seem like a rookie to him. And plus it's not you're fault so stop worrying okay?
Rosè: really unnie? Will we be fine?
Manager: I'm sure of that. You have so many more stages to perform on so let's move on. You guys outdid yourselves and we can't be happier. Chukahe!!! (Congrats)
Choi: hey girls! Sorry to pop in your conversation but I'm here to check on your outfits. Are you guys feeling uncomfortable? Or Anything I can help you guys with ?
Lisa: Choi unnieeee!! Nothing really, our outfit is super pretty...we were just discussing what happened earlier
Choi: heyyyy!!! Cheer up girls!!!! You guys probably did well I'm sure of that.
Before the acceptance of the award
Lisa POV
Ive been trying to hide the fact that I'm nervous, nervous about everything and anything that can happen. We've already debuted and every move we do is seen by the media. It's like we're now in this relationship with the public. We have to show no interest on anyone or what so ever. And that's what's hard because the one thing that I haven't thought of till today was that BTS was going to be attending the award show and that I'll be able to see him after years. I myself was surprised to know that he was part of BTS, I recently found out about this because our staff would usually talk about it. I wasn't aware of BTS popularity, back in our debut days we weren't really familiar with much going on outside of the company.
I'm seeing him today. I mean I've changed a lot physically. I don't mind if he doesn't it's not like we've shared something more than friendship Or would he even consider that night a start of our friendship. Sigh* all I know is I missed him so much, I've wondered everyday how he's been, if he went to America and how that experience changed him. Do I even have the right to care?
Backstage
Staff: okay guys the host will be announcing your name and NCT 127 for the rookie award. And you guys are going to be asked to go up the stage and wait for each other's turn for the speech.
Rosè: Okay got it!
Staff2: you guys can proceed to your seats
Jisoo: kamsahamneeda.
We sat down and watched a couple of speech from actors and actress that won awards.
Announcement
BLACKPINK AND NCT127 are breakthrough artist. Please pick up your awards. Please say a few words.
Lisa POV
We got up and headed towards the stage along NCT127. We got our awards and Jennie unnie made her way to the microphone where she thanked our teddy oppa, stylist, staff members and YG sajangnim. Jennie unnie got emotional and almost cried but she was strong and proceeded on her speech.
I was beside her, and I can't help but look around...seeing all the actors and actress I only saw on TV fascinated me. And that was when I got the chance to take a glance at BTS, there I saw him. He looked at me with a curious stare, it's as if he never knew me at all. I looked away, knowing there was cameras around. Yes, I kinda wished he remembered me, but I can't assume that he felt the same way I did that day.
