Lisa's POV
"Huh? Where am I?" I thought as I slowly opened my eyes witnessing the nurse talking to jungkook "I was just about to explain how this whole situation came about, but all of a sudden I noticed that my breathing was inconsistent and slowly my eyesight became blurry till there was nothing left to see..."
"Oh! She's awake" the nurse made her way towards me checking my vitals
"What happened?" I wondered trying to get a word from the nurse
"Mam, we've only done tests on you...the doctor will soon come and explain to you what may have caused your sudden body break down...please give him 30 minutes to finalize everything" the nurse explained while writing down things on her notebook
"Jung-kook" my eyes widened as he suddenly pulled me into a tight hug wrapping his fingers with mine
"Please-lisa-take care of yourself oh?" He whispered as he caresses my forehead
I took his hands and locked it with mine, "hey kookie, don't worry about me I'm a strong girl this is nothing"
"No you're not, you're just pretending to be strong in front of everyone...please take care of yourself too" he sighed "I wanna go have fun and go to places with you, and that's not possible unless you're healthy enough...I can't be with you all the time so it worries me a lot"
"Hey, cmon look at me" I placed my hands on his chin and lifting it up till his eyes met mine
"I promise you, I'll be better and stronger so that you'll never have to worry about me"
"You promise? Well let's go eat then to regain your strength..." he tried pulling me but soon realized that I had an IV connected to my arm "I'm so sorry-did that hurt?"
"How bout you just go grab me food?" I chuckled seeing him scratching his head
"Alright, I'll bring every food there is and you better eat them all" he said leaving the room with a wide smile
"What did I do to deserve someone like you Jeon jungkook" I thought to myself as he left
Minutes later I heard a knock on the door...
"Jungkook? How'd you get back so quickly?" I said getting out of bed
"Hey Lisa, it's me Eunha" she entered holding a basket of fruit "I'm sorry for the sudden visit, I just wanted to check on you"
"Oh-hey-umm thank you" I grabbed the basket and placed it on the table
I sat on the bed and tried to find words to say when she suddenly said, "Anyways, I was wondering how jungkook was...I mean you got him so worried that night that I could barely sleep wondering what could've happened to him because of you"
"Oh-umm he's okay I guess-actually if you want to talk to him he went to get food" I scratched my neck feeling uncomfortable
"Oh I see...it seems like you're very special to him which I find really surprising because I was once special to him too but you happened" she slowly made her way to me trying to fix my hair
"Oh-yeah he told me you guys were close friends back in the states" I awkwardly smiled
"That's all he said?" She chuckled "Wow why is he keeping it a secret from you" she looked at me with her brows furrowed
"I mean-is there anything more between you two?" I hesitated asking because I wasn't sure if I was ready to know
"Well...sure we were friends back in the states but before that we knew each other already-in fact our parents knew each other" she walked back to table grabbing an apple "you see there's a lot more happening between us but we only know so much"
"What do you mean by that?" I asked trying to hold my self back
"I won't say anymore but eventually he'll be back with me-I'm sorry to break that to you so early on in your relationship but It's just right that you know" she smirked placing the apple back "Whatever you guys have will never lasts, as long as I'm around"
My heart sank after hearing everything she had told me but for some reason I had the courage to talk back, "You don't know what I'm capable of Eunha, you can push me around all you want but when it comes to my love for jungkook I'll do whatever it takes"
"Are you threatening me? Very funny! It doesn't suit you Lisa" she turned around and crossed her arms
"Oh yeah? Well I guess it's about time you meet a different type of Lisa" I took my purse and grabbed her wallet
"Here! I don't know if you purposely gave me your wallet with your picture with jungkook but you look really pathetic now" I smirked giving her wallet back "Hope you'll enjoy watching us from a far because I'm not giving him up..."
"your "love" for him will get you nowhere, but it's good that you're trying" she laughed leaving the room
"You've gotta be strong Lisa, just be strong. Trust yourself, and trust him" My eyes watered with tears but I held it back
"Hey Lis-are you okay? I've got your food" jungkook came in holding the bag up
"Uh-yeah of course I'm fine" I nervously laughed trying to smile
"Oh? Fruit basket? From who?" He asked
"Umm-Eunha came just a couple minutes ago-she just wanted to know how I'm doing that's all" I looked down hoping he'd ask no more questions about her
"Did she do anything to you? Are you hurt? Did she say anything?" He sat beside my bed and took the food out
"Actually-umm-" I stuttered finding words to say
"Should I even tell him? I don't think I should maybe I just need time" I thought to myself starring at him preparing the food
"Ummm-nevermind-I forgot what I was going to say...let's eat shall we? I'm so hungry and I can eat just about everything at this point" I quickly switched the topic
"I'm glad to hear that! I tried really hard to find delicious food so you can eat as much as you can" he proudly smiled grabbing the chopsticks
"Here, say ahhhhh" he held the kimbap up to my mouth
"Jungkook! I can eat by myself it's fine, go feed yourself" I shyly moved his hand
"As long as I'm here, you can't move an inch you understand? Now cmon don't be shy say ahhhh" he teasingly laughed
"Fine! Just because you said so!" I playfully rolled my eyes and chuckled
He looked at straight onto my lips, "those are some kissable lips"
My heart fluttered as he slowly made his way towards me, "can't you just give me one bite of that kimbap and then kiss me?"
"How about I kiss you first and then you can have your kimbap" he grinned locking his lips with mine
We passionately kissed as if there was no tomorrow, he titled his head and slowly flickered his eyes down on my lips and back to my eyes. I leaned in closer as our kiss deepens not wanting it to end.
He ran his thumb down my cheeks affectionately when out of nowhere the nurse came in, "Ms.Manoban-oh god! I'm so sorry I didn't mean to just walk in on you two..."
We were shocked by the sudden interruption, "umm-its alright-what-is it?" I blushed with a high pitched laughter
"The doctor will come with his results tomorrow morning because he had an emergency procedure done on one of his patients, he also wanted me to tell you that you should rest a lot...again I'm so sorry for walking in on you two...I'll go ahead now" she said smiling broadly
"Oh my god! That was so embarrassing" I covered my face with my hands
"What do you mean? I enjoyed it a lot!" He threw his head back and cracked up with laughter "Lisa were together now, you don't have to be shy about it"
"Ughh-my gosh I can't" I took the blanket over my head
