"Lisa~yah get up! Let's eat breakfast" Rosè jumped onto my bed pulling me up, "I told you not to drink so much! Gosh this girl"
"Huh? What even happened last night? I can't remember anything" I scratched my head as I sat, "is this what hangover feels like? My head hurts like hell"
"Well it's gonna get worse if you don't eat so let's go!" She pulled me into the kitchen, "sit with me..."
Jennie and Jisoo unnie was sitting on one side of the table as chaeyoung and I sat across them, as I sat down I couldn't help but feel like I'm being interrogated on something for all their eyes diverted directly at me
"Why?-why are you all starring at me like that?" I moved my brows out of curiosity, "Unnie?--chaeyoung~Ah? Ahhh wehhh?"
"Do you not remember anything from last night?" Jisoo looked at me suspiciously, "Someone in particular?-maybe an ex?"
"Ah!--Jungkook? What about him? I think we kept it civil last night, we have nothing to do with each other's lives so it makes sense" I confidently replied as I go back to eating
"Is that all you remember? Talk about being civil HAHAHAHA she drank seven bottles of soju" Jennie laughed covering her face
"What? Did I miss out on anything? I don't remember much--anyone wanna fill me in?" I asked not knowing what they were giggling about
"Hahaha guys she must've been so drunk--who knows what else happened last night when we left" Jisoo laughed even louder, "look at her face she's so clueless"
"Tell me Lisa how did you get home last night?" Jennie grinned drinking her orange juice, "Who brought you home?"
"I can't remember..." I was thinking harder but still nothing pops in my head, "are you sure you guys aren't playing with me?"
"Goodness Lalisa! Let me fill you in on what happened because little miss amnesia here can't seem to remember" Rosè cleared her throat as she starts to explain, "Somebody was being stubborn last night and decided to drink more than they should've, and that somebody had total of seven bottles of soju in which she drank alone--then she comes home smelling like vomit and alcohol all together"
"Vomit?...vomit?...FUCK! Vomit?!?" I thought as my eyes widened remembering bits and pieces of what had happened last night
"but don't worry her friends made sure she was with someone trustworthy" Rosè bumped my side and pointing at the bouquet of flowers on top of the couch, "Tell me what else did you guys do last night?"
"I don't know who you guys are talking about but I need to apologize to this person" I closed my eyes trying to recall everything
"Lisa-are you dumb or what?" Rosè shook her head starring right at me, "Was there anyone else invited last night aside from us?"
"Yoongi's High school friends?" I shrugged my shoulders with nothing in mind, "who else was there?"
"JUNGKOOK!" All three of them screamed in unison, "We left you with him, well...he didn't know that we planned it but we thought you guys could use some alone time to you know catch up"
After hearing his name it's like my whole world crushed into two, "Jungkook?!? Fuck Everything that happened last night wasn't supposed to happen...ahhh I'm ashamed and embarrassed ugh I can't shake this feeling I hate it!"
"HIM? Why would you guys do that? Unnie? Oh? Catch up really? Oh my goodness I'm so embarrassed I can't...did you guys forget I was the one who left...as much as I'd like to I don't think there's fixing to us...you guys said it yourself he's having the time of his life meeting girls" I started banging my head on the table hoping I'd forget about everything and just start over
"Lalisa! Nothing's gonna change if you keep banging your head like that!" Jisoo slapped my arms
"Ahhhh you guys what am I gonna do? I can't see him at all mostly now...honestly what was I thinking? Why did I drink too much oh?" I kept slapping my face in anger breathing inconsistently
"Maybe because you hated the fact that jungkook was flirting with other girls" Jennie blurted as she hands me a drink, "I mean I don't see what's wrong with how you reacted you guys did have a past"
"Exactly why I'm embarrassed Unnie! We had a past and it didn't end well...I left without him knowing, also I haven't seen or talk to this guy in so long I don't know what he thinks of me now" I sighed throwing my head back
"He gave you flowers so that's one thing" Jisoo took the bouquet and handed it to me, "look at the tag it says welcome back, He's probably happy that you're back"
"Ah! Unnie! That's from Mingyu" I took the flowers and placed it on the table
"How did you know it's from him?" Jisoo crossed her arms in suspicion, "since when did you guys become close?"
"Unnie-flip the tag maybe you'll see his name" I sarcastically said, "I was friends with him already from academy but I guess we got closer when I was in Thailand...he had a concert there and he visited often to keep me company"
"Seventeen Mingyu?" Rosè asked dramatically, "Isn't he friends with jungkook? Wouldn't that be awkward? Jungkook's your ex and his friend is trying to make a move on you?"
"First of all Mingyu and I are just good friends, it's always been that way for us, and no I don't think he's making a move on me..." I laughed shoving off the thought of us together, "trust me it'll never happen"
"Whatever you say Ms.Manoban--before anything else go get changed we start rehearsing today for the comeback" Jennie started cleaning and I helped out quickly after
"Wait--Lisa will you ever tell him the reason why you left? Don't you think he needs to know?" Jennie said quietly breaking our eye contact
"Jennie's right Lisa, he wasn't the only one who suffered...you did too! We know you're not planning on telling him anytime soon but Lisa remember you were hurt too during all this...you were just pretending to be strong but being away from him killed you at some point" Rosè held my hand and gave me those look as I flickered my eyes for I was caught off guard
"I--I don't think now is the right time..." I uttered looking down, "honestly I don't know when I'll be able to tell him"
Flashback to that night of the accident
"I love you too" I mouthed as I took my ring off and handed it to him, "find someone that's very much deserving of that okay?"
"Lisa-" he sniffed quietly, "please this promise ring doesn't belong to anyone else but you--you can end our relationship I don't care but don't give this back to me because it's like you're throwing us away"
"I'm sorry--"my vision became blurry from all the tears as I took his fingers and enclosed them into his palms covering the ring, "but I don't wanna hang on to the past, let's start getting used to not being with each other"
I turned my back on him as I walked the pedestrian under the heavy rain, but little did I know that it was one of my biggest mistake to have walked those paths
"Lisa--" that was the last thing I heard as I turned around to witness jungkook standing in front of me, without a warning a car made a sharp turn and slammed into jungkook
"Jungkook!" I screamed as shattered glass came flying in towards me, "Jungkook-"
"Oh? What's this? I can't feel my body--what's happening?" I felt my body shut down as I fell next to the glistening trail of oil
"Get up Lisa! Cmon" I clenched my fist as I lifted my head but it was getting harder to breathe, "Jungkook-Ah wait for me"
"Jungko-" I had once last glance at him before my head hit the ground, and everything went dark
"Please save him..."
