(First chapter based from the dating event challenge in the show!)
Katy's POV
"Do I have to go?!" I asked Emma. Emma was my best friend.
"Please!! I need you there as support! It's a dating event!" Emma replied.
"Fine but I'm not looking to date anyone!" I warmed her.
"Fine but please come?!" She begged.
"Okay" I replied and hung up the phone. I threw on a t shirt and some jeans with black books.
Sal's POV
"Do I have to go?" I asked Q. He rolled his eyes.
"We have been over this! Joe can't come and me and Q just want to meet our soulmates and we need someone there!" Murr explained. "You might even meet your soulmate!" Murr teased.
"No I will not! I'm going for your sake, not mine!" I explained. They both laughed as we got into the car. I wore my red shirt, with a black t shirt underneath and jeans. Murr dressed quite smart in a suit and Q wore his superman T-shirt and blue jeans.
We arrived in the bar where the music was blasting. I could nearly hear anything. Murr and Q chucked their coats on my arm as they walked off getting a drink. I looked everywhere for a seat but couldn't find one. In the distance, even though the bar was quite dark, I could see a spare booth. I quickly ran over and sat down as a women sat down at the exact same time.
Katy's POV
I sat down at the same time as this man did. We both looked at eachother as we decided who should leave. My friend, Emma, shoved her bag in my arm and walked off. I was left there. I looked around to see no spare seats.
"I'll leave!" This guy said to me.
"No no it's fine! There's no where else to go and it will only be me here!" I said to him. He smiled as he pushed some coats to the side and just went on his phone. I did the same thing. We were sat opposite each other, not saying a word, just staring into our screens. As the night progressed, the music became louder and louder.
I looked up from my phone to see this guy with well gelled hair, staring at his phone. As soon as I looked down he looked up.
"Hey let me get you a drink?" He offered, as he shouted above the music.
"Well I'm not here to meet anyone if your trying to ask me out!" I said, realising that's exactly what he wasn't doing.
"Same here. I'm just here for my friends!" He explained.
"Same!" I replied. He smiled at me as he got up from the chair. "I'll have an orange juice please!" I said. He smiled and walked off.
Sal's POV
"I see you've met someone!" Q joked staring back at the girl I was with.
"I don't even know her name!" I said. Q walked off laughing as I got us our drinks. I walked back over and introduced myself.
"Hi I'm Sal!" I said, placing the drinks on the table.
"I'm Katy!" She replied with a warm smile.
