Today me and Sal decided to go for a shopping trip. His mother's birthday is tomorrow and I wanted to get her something and so did Sal.
We got into town and walked around some shops.
"Kate" Sal began. (Kate was my nickname given to me by Sal) "should I get her some candles?" He suggested.
"As longs as its hit the one you got me for Christmas last year" I joked to him.
"That did smell awful!" He agreed. We both laughed as we walked into a small little shop which sold candles. The smell of vanilla hit us in the face as the door slammed open. We walked in together and looked around.
"What about this one? It's raspberry kiss!" I said, holding it up to his nose. He took a sniff from the candle and smiled. "What?" I asked him, wondering what made him so happy.
"It smelt like you when we went to that restaurant 3 years ago!" He reminded me.
"How do you even remember that?" I asked him.
"I always remember the little things about you!" He said, strolling off the the other side of the shop. Sal always made me smile. And I honestly adored him! Murr knows how I feel about Sal and has always kept it secret. I always wanted to tell Sal that I love him and want to date him but I just couldn't. This women came up to Sal and they were talking for a while then grabbed their phones from their pockets. I gathered they were exchanging numbers.

Sal's POV
This brown haired woman came up to me with a friendly smile. She was non stop complimenting me and I tried to return the favour but I was always thinking about Katy.
"Hi I'm Claire!" She introduced herself as.
"I'm Sal" I replied.
"I know this sounds strange but would you like to go for dinner?" She as,ex me after a few minutes of chatting. I didn't have the heart to say no, but my mind always raced back to Katy. Claire was nothing like her. She was no where near as beautiful as Katy was. Nobody could make me feel how Katy makes me feel... happy, in love. I said to Claire yes and maybe I could take my mind off Katy.
"Sure" I unconvincingly replied. She gave me her number and I felt obliged to give her mine. I could see Katy looking over and then turned as soon as I looked at her. It was obvious she didn't feel the same so that's why I went on the date!

Katy's POV
