*1 week later*
I decided to wake up, nice and early and go out for a jog. I liked the early mornings where hardly anyone was out to go for a jog in the local park. I grabbed my trainers and left my house and got to the park.
Sal's POV
I was lead in bed in this early Sunday morning, listening to nothing but the birds cheerfully chirping. Until the loud knock of the front door interrupted. I ran downstairs to see a Joe and his dog Canoli.
"What are you doing here??" I asked Joe.
"Can you take Canoli for a walk?! Bessy is looking after the kids and I have to do some editing and the other two are hungover so please?!" Joe pleaded. As much as I didn't want to I wanted to help him out.
"Fine!" I agreed.
"Take him for a walk in the park!" Joe said to me.
I took Canoli inside as I got changed. I then got Canoli and took him for a walk.
We got down the park to see a few dogs, some runners and a few kids. Everyone looked quite happy for an early morning, but I looked so tired. I didn't get home till 2am and it's only just gone 7:30 am! I looked to my right and admired the view of the river beside me, letting Canoli taking control. I felt my head bang into someone else's as I took a step back. I rubbed my head and said
"Watch out!" I snapped until I looked up to see a familiar face.
Katy's POV
I was jogging along the park, taking no notice of anyone around me. I could feel my phone slipping out of my pocket, so I focused on trying to pick it back up, when I bumped into someone.
"Watch out!" They snapped.
"I'm so sorry!" I replied, looking up to see Sal.
"Oh hey!" He said, calming down with a welcoming smile. "Sorry for snapping it's just I'm really tired.
"It's my fault! It's weird to see you here!" I said to Sal.
"I know! Well it's actually great to see you!" He replied.
We began to walk together.
