One Hour Before The Party!
Sal was still over Murr's, and he sat on the sofa in complete silence, thinking. Murr bursted into the room interrupting Sal's thoughts.
"What's up bud?" Murr asked him.
"Just thinking!" Sal replied, with a strange look on his face.
"About what!?" Murr asked him.
"Katy, Claire" he replied. "I think I love.. Katy" Sal said. Murr's face lit up.
"Really?!" He asked excitedly.
"When I'm around Katy I get butterflies in my stomach. I always blush over what she says and I'm always smiling when I'm around her. She cheers me up. When I see her stood there looking as beautiful as ever, I just smile. She is just... perfect!" Sal said with a smile.
"How do you feel when your around Claire?" Murr asked him.
"Well... I feel alright. Like she makes me smile but not in the way Katy does" Sal replied.
"And there's your answer!" Murr said, also with a smile provided.
"I'm gonna tell her! But I have to break up with Claire first!" Sal said, grabbing his coat.
He sprinted over to Claire's place and banged on the door. She finally opened the door and let Sal in. He sat on her cream white sofa with her sat beside. He felt quite bad and was beginning to get second thoughts about what to do. But he thought he would regret it for the rest of his life without Katy.
"Claire" Sal began.
"Yeah babe" she replied. This made Sal feel worse.
"Look, we aren't working out!" He blurted out. "I think we should go our separate ways!" He added. She nodded in agreement.
"I suppose that's fair. You and Katy were meant for eachother" Claire said to him. He couldn't hold in his smile.
He glared down at his watch and saw he was late for Katys party.
"I'm so sorry I have to leave! Is my car still in the garage?" He asked Claire. She nodded.
He grabbed his keys and raced into the car. He forced his seatbelt on and Hagen to drive. He was about 45 minutes away from the party. He blasted the radio with some feel good songs. The car suddenly began to slow down until it completely broke down.
"Great!" Sal sarcastically said, stuck in the middle of a dark, busy road.
