Be Mine! Part 1

Chapter 21

Sal's POV
This was literally all I need. I glanced down at my watch and I had 1 hour until the party was over, and 45 minutes to get there. I had no way of getting there on time. I stood on the side of the road and locked my car. I rang the breakdown service and they told me they could fix it. I held out my hand to wave at a car to get a lift but no one would stop. I knew I was just wasting time here so I decided I'd have to run. I began to sprint all the way to Murr's place which was a while away, but I was determined to get there for Katy. I ran for about 20 minutes and stopped every now and again, resting my hands on my knees, catch my breath and begin to run again. I had to get there to tell her how I felt.

Katy's POV
I was so surprised when the guys, apart from Sal, surprised me with the party! It was so sweet and I was going to miss the guys a lot!! I peered over everyone's heads to try and search for Sal but there was no sign of him. I guess he really was mad at me. I tried to not let it bother me, as Murr, Joe and Q put a lot of effort into doing this for me. I approached the three guys as we formed a circle.
"Thank you so much for this party!" I said, grabbing my lemonade.
"I'm so happy your enjoying it!" Murr said. Q turned to Joe and whispered
"Where's Sal?"  Joe shrugged his shoulders, having no idea.
"Where's Sal?" I also asked. They all looked at each other wondering how to tell me.
"On his way I'm sure!" Joe said to make me feel better.
"I'm just gonna find Bessy!" Joe said, with Murr following. I went around the whole house in search for Sal but he was definitely not here, nor coming.

I was trying to stop myself from crying so I decided to sneak out into the garden and sit against the wall. I slumped onto the ground, back against the wall and began to cry. It really upset me Sal wasn't coming! I really wanted to see him, to say goodbye. He clearly didn't want to see me and that's why I was so upset. Q was looking round for me until he peered outside the window and saw me on the ground in the garden. He slid the door open and had two drinks in his hand.
"You okay?" He asked. I didn't even attempt to hide my tears. He came out with two drinks and passed one to me; whilst sitting on the ground next to me. He took off his jacke t and placed it on me as he thought I was cold, and wrapped his arms around me. I nestled my head in his chest and lead there.
"Is this about Sal" Q asked me.
"Yeah" I whispered.
"Look, tonight is about you. If Sal can't see a beautiful, gorgeous girl like you loves him then that's his problem!! Your amazing, never forget that!" Q said. I sat up next to Q, holding his hand, taking a sip from my drink.
"Thanks Q" I said to him. He turned to face me with a confused look
"For what?" He asked.
"Being a great friend when I need you most" I replied.
"No matter where you are, im always here for you" Q replied with a warm smile.
