Shiori felt irritation bubbling in her but managed to push it down, with an exasperated tone, she tried once again to inform her sister of her wrongdoings, "Imouto-chan, it is not good to cut down your diet because it will kill you."
"Aneki, just because you don't want to look good doesn't mean you have to lecture me about it. I'm sure you went on a diet too, you're so slim!" Sakura scowled and looked away. This made Shiori resist the urge to just jump away and pretend the conversation never happened before. Sighing, Shiori muttered a "be my guest, then" before flashing away. She arrived at the Nara compound and smiled at the guards, "Ohayo, Shinoko-san, Kashimura-san."
"Ohayo, Shiori-chan!" Shinoko Nara, a man in his late twenties with buzz cut hair, greeted with a lazy smile etched on his face. Shiori smiled back easily... even if her smile was rather small. Kashimura Nara, the much younger man, bowed at her. Shiori easily returned the sentiment, she knew after coming here so many times that Kashimura-san was mute.
"Are you here to see your boyfriend?" Shinoko teased, wiggling his brow. He ignored the disapproving look sent his way by Kashimura and leaned over towards a confused Shiori. Shiori tilted her head and muttered, "Boyfriend? I do not have any."
Shinoko face faulted, "Geez, it's no fun teasing if the victim is unaware. Go along now, Shiori-chan, tell Shikaku-sama and Shikamaru-sama hello for us."
Shiori nodded, "Will do. Take care, Shinoko-san, and Kashimura-san."
Shiori walked into the compound and immediately headed over to the largest standing house. She knocked on the door and blinked as a man with a scarred face, hair tied up like most Nara men and a Jounin vest worn greeted her as the door opened. Shiori dipped into a bow, recognizing the man as Shikamaru's father from the description, "It is a pleasure to meet you, Nara-sama. Shikamaru-san has told me a lot about you. My name is Shiori Haruno."
"Oh?" He said, "Just Shikaku is fine. Shikamaru hanging out with a girl... Didn't expect that at all."
"Shikaku-sama," Shiori emphasized the term 'sama', her lips curving downwards into a small frown. She didn't want to be a disturbance towards others, and Shikamaru had looked like he enjoyed their games. But it could be that he was merely humoring her, "I apologize if I was a hindrance to your time with your son. I can find time to visit again later-"
"Oh, not again," The familiar drawl rang out, out step Shikamaru from behind a very amused Shikaku with his signature bored look, "Stop thinking too much, you troublesome girl. My dad is just surprise I'm willingly hanging out with a girl, he's not asking you to leave and stop being a bother."
After he finished, he proceeds to flick a troubled Shiori on her forehead. Shiori flinched back a little at the sudden pain that hit her forehead and unconsciously pouted. "That hurt, Shikamaru-san. And I was not over thinking, I was merely being considerate."
"Well, she's a good kid, you should learn something from her, Shikamaru," Shikaku's deep voice laughed and looked at his son amused. Shikamaru clicked his tongue, "Troublesome..."
"Well, I have a report to run. Have fun, kids," Shikaku bid farewell before leaving the house. Shiori huffed before turning to Shikamaru, "Go?"
Shikamaru proceeds to send her an annoyed look.

Shiori finished writing her report and stretched. Her mind immediately drifted off to her sister.... who was being difficult. Sakura seemed to not understand that being a Kunoichi means she must not go on a diet, going on a diet would hinder her nutrient intake and energy usage. Shiori didn't know which was worse, the fact Sakura seemed to be stubborn on continuing her diet or the fact their mother seemed to approve and support Sakura's choice. Mother always did seem to be disapproving at Shiori's choice of food amount, even if father seemed to approve of it.
